I think I would be able to do the preconditioning, which makes me question if the auxillary cabin heater is worthwhile?

    Hi Mudder,

What sort of driving are you doing on those ranges? Are they single journeys, or is that an accumulation of short trips?

I’ll take a look at the forum, thanks!

The 120aH is the latest one, I think they are quoting a real world range of something like 163, and the WLTP of 193, or 177 for the i3s.

Now comes my predicament i3 or i3s.. is the extra fun going to cost me to much in mileage!

Phil556 – This was my exact thought process, the low BIK rates from next year are making it very attractive.

I just couldn’t resist a few extras on there!

I think the WLTP figures are supposedly more accurate than the older guestimates, so i’ll have to wait and see!

Interesting views! Cheers! Maybe it will be 56 in the slow lane!

Or more likely a coffee and sausage roll stop to charge up half way!

Sounds like Oakford Social and Purple Turtle….or maybe i’ll stick to the train into paddington..! Cheers guys!

@thisisnotaspoon – I’m very glad it’s not just me, I went to Q club once… I can confirm there will never be a second time.

Cubist – I’d agree in your scenario the driver should anticipate oncoming traffic in the cycle lane as he pulls across it. I think the real blame here has to lie with the god awful “cycle lanes” which are just a painted line on the road, if anything there more dangerous!

Yak, I guess the slight variation above in my case is that

    A) The driver stops before the footpath

    B) The cyclists are travelling in the wrong direction, with congested roads the driver cannot really see or anticipate the cyclists on the path when he makes the initial maneuver.

Bit the bullet and got it done with an.oil change -£1800.

I did try Independant dealers but very little in it, on the basis that the injectors themselves were the expensive parts.

I do have the 5 remaining good injectors, if anyone has similar injector failure issues drop me a line and I can give you the serial number and you can have them. Replace one rather than 6 new ones is probably worth chancing given its not too much of a fiddly job (from.what I’ve seen)

Bit nervous about “cold setting” the frame as I read something about having to realign the dropouts and the chainstay?

Cheer guys, much appreciated as I’m a bit of a newbie to it all!

So the 115mm frame, do you think that’s a no go with these hubs? It’s an old 1963 frame 531 tubing with 115 mm ff dropouts?

I’m trying to build an old bike for my fathers 60th, have purchased these hubs ad an 1992 campag chorus crankset so far, have also looked at some old clad butler frames with 115mm rear spacing, so do you think I could make these hubs fit?

I know potentially slightly off topic…but am I the only one getting slightly annoyed with the BBC who keep giving the publicity these terrorists want by broadcasting there videos over and over?

We went to barcelona a month ago on a boozy weekend. We stayed in placa reial, and spent most of our time on las ramblas like most people do.

Personally it put me off the city I really wouldn’t advise carrying anything in a pocket that isnt zipped up! During the day through the hustle and bustle, its constant paranoia!

At night, we seemed to get offered drugs everywhere we walked. We werent exactly shady looking in fact quite well dressed compared to some, but it seems to be a bit of a problem there. You find that the people selling the tat on the street will mutter under there breath, offering charlie or md! Not really what you want to hear whilst admiring the city!

We got surrounded by a pack of ladys who surround you and will follow you down las ramblas, they try to touch you up and invite you back, make sure you tell em to F Off! They take some convincing, but if your just really rude to them (its the only way) they will leave you alone! If not they’ll have your phone and wallet!

A lot of beggars also, tend to come round as your sat outside!

It started off as a cheap bike to nip to and fro work on. Now i think it should have more use than that!

I love it…yes it looks a bit crazy….but its different when you actually see it, photo’s dont do justice! Just not really sure what to use it for, do you think you could use it for touring, there are no eyelets to mount panniers :/

I guess, they were slightly worn from the brakes, but its not what i would expect from a high end rim from a high end company! There was no damage!

The tyre say they accept upto 160 psi christ if i had of have put that in I wouldn’t have any wheel left!

True, I have found it easy to follow on local roads, and the buzz when going off course is very useful!!
However my main issue would be the fact that it flicks between screens? So it’s not always on the “Navigation Screen” as such?

Did it manage to direct you reasonably then?

    lewismorgan

    That does look good value!

I’m debating between hardtail and full suss. Majority use of my riding is on the flat, round local woods etc.

However occasionally I like to take it up to the scotish highlands or the Peak District and blast around.

Looking at The Canyon Nerve Range, I like the XC and the AM, would an AM bike be a bit heavy and hard work biking about on?
