What tyres for running over a badger?

Something with a solid central stripe.

Mebbe. It’s a single lane to nowhere. If you trapped and gassed them then you’ve missed countless acres of non roadside areas to dump a body.

    Wondered about TB…

See if you can find a copy of spons online. That’ll give you a feel for the difference. From memory a days tiling is maybe 4-6sqm. Laminate flies down in comparison.

How do you tidy up a pair of dead badgers?

Well mostly by gently hoofing them to the roadside to as not cause a diversion.

There’s a betterment question here. If you have laminate now then you should get laminate back without cost.
If you want to allocate the cost of laminate towards tiles thats fine. You pay the delta.
Tiles take much longer to fit…

You want to save a lobster that was foolish enough to be caught in the first place, then return it to breed more foolish lobsters. Fishing and consuming is increasing the intelligence of these crustaceans. You therefore must consume the said crustacean to avoid dumbing down the global population.

Wald would be proud of that logic.

    Maybe. God is a Lobster

If you can open it and close it then it’s fine. Doesn’t need to lock automatically

Blimey. The knowledge in this place astounds me sometimes!

It’ll be cold. Take a sleeping bag and a duvet. The duvet is warm and keeps the light out.

My friend’s Spanish wife mentioned to their neighbour that she could hear their faeces plopping.
Eventually they worked out that she was talking about fish jumping out of the pond.

I had a Spanish team member once who came into the office and proudly announced ‘my uncle is in Spain’ before limping off. It took us a while to sort that one out.

The film was immense. Very sobering, and at times very raw and dark.

    £190 on Xmas lights!

    Do they match your lexus?

    No. I drive a 2004 Suzuki Jimny.

Well well, the supplier has come through. A courier will pick up the lights and supply a new set this week. Hopefully any technical issues in the product have been ironed out over the last couple of years production!

We started with the Cumbrian Way, split some days and take a rest day in Keswick. Or the Dales man way?

Don’t put your fingers any where you wouldn’t put the old man.
Apologies that’s power tools. I’m still married by some fluke.

So what are you spending it on then?!

    Fairy lights?

Can just be the first to say.

£190 on lights that you use only a few weeks a year? **** hell.

Married? Like having a happy wife? They are very impressive and make her and bijou spud very happy.

Fwiw I think they are expensive as well. But nice things sometimes are.

XTR is lovely. But it’s spendy and not necessary more durable.
If you can afford it and maintain it is great.

Plenty of other viable options tho.

Brakes not an issue. I’m 100kg and I’ve never cooked a brake. Don’t worry about it.
I doubt you’d drag the brake all the way down a hill. Even if you did the world won’t end.

When you look at it do you want to ride it? If so get it built.

That’s a bit of a nasty spike in allowance changes. Our tax system does have some rather perverse incentives in it.

Can see your logic. I’d be finding what makes me want to ride it when I look at it….

I’m not saying don’t buy a bike… but mebbe check your sums?

I’ve mentioned above that some people may view this as a crass thread, but the long and short is that if I take the £2k as pay, I will see £427 of it net.

That’s an effective tax rate of 78/79%? That’s a chunk over the 60% band? What’s driving it?

When I did mine I laid them face down. Installed the rear legs the rocked them up and into position. Then you can push them to the wall and pop the fronts on. Level up. Fit doors and leave the kickpates for several years

Still using mine. They sell all the bits mail order.

Yes. Easily turned on from a distance. Quite difficult to turn off manually without rummaging around the back.

We had something similar. Heavy duty steel rod punched through the drum. JB weld sorted it. You may need a couple of fillets

Fab, I’ve had a quick look. I’d say 12 spokes on the NDS are slack. 2 at some sort of tension.

I guess the wheel is just a shoddy build

    lesgrandepotato

Ok we have a bunch of spokes on the NDS that are slack.
Is it a simple as nipping them up? Pick a tight one and pull to the same tension?

A good bleed is not hard. Get the fill cup and watch the you tube video.

Crack on and it’ll only take you and hour or so.
