I’d bang in a pre-planning app, we’ve just done it in lakeland to understand if somethings Permitted Development or not. Make it easy to read, then after you get the letter back saying they’ve assigned it get on the phone for a chat. Easy.

For us, expressing milk helped lots, meant bub got the good stuff and mum could sleep.

We then went into a rota system for a while, so I’d get in from work sort tea, then Mrs Potato would feed. She’d then got to bed and LesBijouPotato and I would watch some box sets while he slept on my shoulder until say midnight. That gives her some 4-5 hrs continuous sleep which will really help.

Other things that helped, coming home with a new outfit for her so she feels pretty and getting the food and drink for parents sorted out.

    Good luck :-)

I fill it up with cold water, swill it and throw the still emulsified stuff out the front door.

Surprisingly effective on next doors cat. Depending on your level of rural ness this may not be an option for you.

Sounds like a little more anticipation required.. if you assume everyone will do something stupid then you’ll find it much less surprising and much less stressful.

Good news, your ready for the next step in your Job.

If it was me, I think you are going to need a few conversations.

Things to understand, the world is changing. How are you on no sleep? Can you really take the step up in this year?

I’d have a chat with the offering company to see how else it could be made to work, or I’d pass it up.

Your ready for it so you’ll get it next time round.

The place we are buying had one and it’s been lifted a few years back. I expect that’s a good way to make a few quid.

2.4jtd 20valver on my drive. Done about 120000miles in it over the last 4yrs. Nice place to be rapid(ish). Wish bones and turbo hoses are the only things it ever really needs

You need an e class. There’s a reason German taxis are all e classes..

Agreed, when I bought my gold top I was both delighted and frustrated at its ability to pass on every nuance of my playing. Some days the old epi was much better!

Interesting. Do they gain any headroom against an up and over? My vdub won’t go into the garage at the new house. Needs an extra inch of clearance as the door hangs too low under the lintel.

Main dealer for me, contis in 265/30 18 about 165 a corner. I was rather surprised, they are the M designation ones as well which seem to be a harder compound than the non ‘m’ designations..

Depends, do they get pudding at boarding school?

How can they have any pudding if they don’t eat their meat?

Sounds like a clutch to me, most torque involved in 5th gear hence it slips, less torque in the lower gears so its fine.

Just come back from a week out there last week, did the Saddle Skeddadle Atlas traverse.

Fantastic trip, with a support team and full guiding. You could ride without support but the language gets difficult further out (unless you speak Berber) we managed about 150 miles and 17000 ft in six days.

Its not super technical but there is some great Singletrack and some epic views.

I’m not sure it’s a given that house prices are that much cheaper. Basic family house is 200k+ round here and 400k+ for the nice stuff 4 beds detached etc. then you get into the bigger detached places would be easy to spend £500k + for a big family house

We did it a couple of years back, it’s been pretty good. Change of role not easy depending on what you do. I’d go further out than the honey pots to find somewhere where people live 12 months a year. We are down Cartmel way and we like it a lot. Even if the manchester commute drags a bit.

Rode Bowderdale both ways yesterday. As long as its dryish which it was) then its pretty much rideable all the way. Certainly the only bit that stopped us was the top bit of the steep ramp onto the calf.

We went from Bowderdale village, then up to the Calf and back. Then a quick loop round Crosby Garrett fell. Nice route about 24miles and 3500ft of ascent.
