I heard it on the morning radio with a hangover. I felt it was a shame, bit of a tear at the waste.

I remember seeing him a few months earlier at the Newcastle Mayfair. I famously fell asleep at that concert next to a speaker. I was in the pile of bodies dancing most of the gig. The warm up act was 2 Japanese girls. I have never slept enough!

I had a tear too when the Mayfair got pulled down. Good place.

Nice to remember all that. Seems like yesterday.

paulrockliffe that sounds ambitious. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going that high or remote unless you know the area and are prepared.

Boxelder gave a good cheeky route earlier. He’s yer man for local knowledge. See the local bike shops too for advice.

There are races for 8-18 year olds on Saturday at Whinlatter. We’re making a call at noon tomorrow. I’ll try to remember to copy decision here. Google Cyclewise Academy for race details.

Don’t worry about the battery. It’s a good routine to charge each night.

    I love my s3.
The voice recognition understand me more than humans.
Text predictions are great. It nearly always offers me the next word as I type.
Camera amazing. Burst photos v good. Don’t know how many pictures per second, but good for capturing action.
    Must sleep.

Got balloon(s) today. Went to fill up with helium and the bloke in the shop said they will not float by morning as they are latex.

So…. If it’s ok, I’ll fill tomorrow night at 4 after work and ride out somewhere nice.

I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow. Hope you feel our collective love in your moments of need. Love to all your family. We’re right behind you til you feel strong again.

Tough day tomorrow, but necessary. Hope you get some sleep.

Is there a paypal address I can contribute to for cost of balloon and p&p etc? How much?

Lewis, I know you will find true happiness in the future and you will find a way to live with what has happened. You sound like an amazing human. I hope you can give yourself time to ride the storm. Man hug to you and all who love you. We’re always with you.

    Good stuff.

At the weekend I was catching folk who’s numbers couldn’t be seen. I videod the whole finish which proved invaluable in the end. If you could add voice recognition which added a time stamp to the number and put in a spreadsheet then you are onto a winner. Any programmers out there?

fizzicist – looks good if you have a cup that fits. The stand looks pricey if your cup is not compatible.

    I couldn’t see a recommendaiton for a compatible cup.

I’ve got 2 at work to save taking the coffee from my drawer to the kitchen (take both each time. 1 has just been used and the other with a fresh charge of coffee. Wash out used one when in kitchen). Handy too if you have guests.

Note from the shop below from Facebook

    more specifically
We’re feeling far from festive at the shop this morning as some thieving b******s broke in during the night (at half past midnight) and helped themselves to the following bikes:
a Mondraker Foxy, a Cube Two15, a Cube Fritzz Pro, Cube Sting and a Cube Hanzz SL, and a Cube Analog.
If you hear of ANYTHING, please get in touch on 017687 78711. Any information that leads to arrests and/or the return of the bikes, will receive an award.

so…. robdixon, it looks like yours is the best option. I didn’t realise boosting a wifi signal was possible.

I’ll have a QUICK GOOGLE SEARCH TO see if my existing Belkin F5D8633-4 n-wIRELESS router can be set to become a repeater. That is sure to end in misery. Any tips appreciated. I got left behind at the zx spectrum 48k!

    Everyday is a schoolday!

    Thanks all.

Thanks all. 3 fab bits of advice at least. I owe you a pint.

Woody2000 – that’s a wifi booster is it. It picks up a wifi signal and boosts it.

RooleyMoor – can i just plug that in to the 240v circuit to send wifi in that area and continue using my comtrend 240v thing (that I plug a LAN wire into for this PC in a remote part of teh house). Or will I need to get a compatible 240v thingy to get a compatible signal into the 240v circuit.

samunderwood – 3 aerials! is it safe! could I do that with this new router if it has the settings?

I don’t think you can pre-book. I think you turn up and take any unbooked seats on the night. Clever eh! Everyone wins.

You loved him, so he lived.
Bet he had great time with you.
Pity they don’t live as long as us.
It’s great he has you to help him on his final day.
    Thinking of you.
