Does the lbs across the road not sell tyres?

Like a lot of other arts, the church was at one point the best income for musicians. Hence why you have Gustavo Holst selling a bit of his ‘Jupiter’ with some words as a hymn rather than the secular work it was intended.

Agree with the point above about the Kendrick stuff though… That, and Sunday school songs goes in my room 101.

Ahhh, must give the stills feature a try then! Never actually used it before, but actually now looking at the stationary bike part of the image, it makes sense really!

    Rocketdog,
How did you manage the slow shutter speed ish effect with a gopro?

Is it some sort of post processing from video sort of trick?…

Jaysus! Put a fuse in the line would ya… I take it you’ve never seen a shorted cable of that size connected across a battery of that size!
You don’t get much chance to stop it manually!

I’m surprised either of them work, you’re only dropping 6v onto a coil which needs ~10v minimum to close the relay!

I’ve got the genuine version and it just works… Not really much more to add!

Thinking along the lines of felt adhesive (the second most difficult stuff to get off your hands after expanding foam!) have you tried white spirit?
Not the best thing for skin granted, but it fetched muck off my hands that I’d been wearing off!

Definitely a slop fest, although the end of the section that was felled and subsequently ‘paved’ with fist sized lumps of rock now has a nice feature!
Take it at normal trail speed and you can prejump the first then send it off the second!

Any fallen stone walls nearby? A few lengths of soil pipe laid in then cover over with rocks topped off with local trail surfacing and you’ll be back on track in no time!

    Subtlety is key.

Do other usergroups ie. pedestrians use it?
    Who does it belong to?

A little pruning here and there will probably go unnoticed, start building gap jumps and people will likely start to moan.
Should major tree surgery be required, it’s the perfect time to do it what with all these high winds, but do it properly and tidy up afterwards… If you must add obstacles to the route, take a separate line off the main route to add the obstacle.
If you can sort existing trail issues such as erosion, puddles and restrictions properly, you’ll probably find people will actually thank you for your efforts.

Although after the recent winds, it took me around two and a half hours to tidy up all the windfall on a mile stretch of local singletrack!

Never thought of them… Has been mentioned in council village forum but was not recieved well (probably wasn’t deemed for the greater good – in the finest hot fuzz way!)

We can’t even get disused lines which have been stripped of track and adopted by the council into any sort of use around here.
Prime candidate runs between two large villages where the cycle link is currently a rural A road, and quite steep in places. There is a disused railway which has bridges and cuttings turning it into a constant gentle gradient running 30yds from the road, but no formal access onto it, and also due to the method used to strip the track out, it is horribly bumpy which rules out any transport cycling.
The crying shame is that all the necessary materials for a sustainable path are there, they just need a day or two with a mini digger and roller and the path would be transformed into a fast rolling clean path. Add a couple of ramps out of the track and it would be something which would become the preferable route between the villages.

Yes I ran them with a variety of sealants (although not Stan’s admittedly) and they always leaked out the liquid through the sidewalls in the pattern of the carcass weave, they never sealed and eventually the liquid content of the sealant was left on my floor not in the tyres. Interestingly lots of thorns were sealed no problem.

They were very cheap high rollers though and may have been single ply…

I also had issues when setting up my new clown wheels, spesh purgatory control – inflated shaken then topped up after first ride and not touched in over a month, spesh ground control control leaked out as per my experience with HRs.

I also wiped out the inside of the tyre with IPA to remove any release agent which may affect the sealing ability of latex based sealants. Who knows?

What you need is a friend with an ultrasound detector.

Fortunately I have access to one – unfortunately you’ll have to pay for my plane ticket! :D

I’ve found that the bog standard maxxis casing leaks through the sidewalls badly – 2.3 wire HRs didn’t stop leaking for the three months I persevered… Exo casings as mentioned above work perfectly, as do on-one ekso surprisingly enough!

Yep, I used an old bolt thru axle and associated flange nuts etc. plus a bit of flat bar threaded onto this axle.
Basically like the shimano version but rougher, then I added a 6mm threaded bar ‘feeler’ mounted in a slot to set the distance to the rim.

Add a bit of pipe to fit over the axle and it works a treat.

Don’t know whether it is still about, but when I used to run Epson printers I used to have an Epson utility that let me reset faults and counters…
Cost most to download and got me at least three new old printers – usually with new cartridges that the exasperated prior owners had tried to repair them with!

Rc200f – that’s the sort of info I’m looking for, does the 0.5mm fit well in the barrels? From what I could see of the original it looked a tad bigger than 0.5mm…

JoeG – also hoping you got a dodgy set and they should be reusable!

I might just get in touch with jungle if they are that easy to source and that ‘relatively’ cheap.
I will definitely be looking into an alternative source though, as I’m the group spanner monkey for dropper repairs!

Actually, I can just about manage it since I’ve started running a bit. My calves and quads are no longer quite what they used to be either.

As a time served maintenance electrician and instrument tech. who is now no longer able to change the luminaire in his own kitchen…

In answer to your actual question, the 60A RCBO will be fine – although the maximum current for each mcb is 32A, you can take into consideration the fact that you wouldn’t normally have three kettles plugged into each circuit at once. this is known in the trade as diversity.

Don’t worry about the ring either – assuming your conservatory doesn’t resemble kew gardens and you haven’t somehow gone into the loft on the run to the CU, you are unlikely to have exceeded the limits of cable resistance or floor area. ;)

The yank orange pattern is still real tree, but designed to work on animals who see in shades of grey…
Hence being Merkins they get that little bit more warning that they are about to shoot a friendly whilst to the quarry they remain hidden.

You haven’t unscrewed the indicators then screwed the screws back into the shifter body for safe keeping have you?

I did this on my xt shifters and was about to send them back as I was a click short even when pulling the cable by hand when I realised what was happening…

Called to a breakdown, before even talking to the operators to find out what is occurring, before looking around the broken down machine to ascertain the problem and the extent of any damage…

“How long will we be down” – every **** time!

And of course, the perennial favourite when faced with a slightly precarious job, “you will be careful won’t you?” – actually I thought I might jump off for fun for a change…

ISTR reading somewhere that the best killer of the smell inducing bacteria is UV, hence pegging gear out on a washing line isn’t only giving them a blow through – the sunlight kills the bacteria and the smell.

I know the majority of the time my gear gets whacked through a tumble drier cycle as it’s normally dark when they’ve been washed… I do make a point of pegging out every so often though.
