To your left was a track that is the bridleway.
You would more than likely lasted 20 seconds longer on the bike on that one.
(unless you are one of the many singletrack riding gods)

Only just returned to the thread, I’m interested in the sufferfest stuff might make the turbo less tedious. Is there a particular favourite for anyone?

Stumpy I have a feeling that the update is not available to all and will be rolled out incrementally, I got my Desire very early or I’m just lucky. My wife’s Desire hasn’t got the update yet.

Sorry to hear that, I bet the feeling is a real gut wrencher. Don’t you people have a boot?

I have gone off CRC now, ordered Sunday Dispatched yesterday. The service is not what it was. Don't get me started on warranty issues. 2 months my XTR shifter has been broke, had to send it back twice before they sent me a new one. which then turned up missing it's top cover so that has had to go back. I prefer Merlin, ebay and superstar(for pads) at the moment great service.

Funny I do have a Solid model file of a Mono M4 calliper that I acquired at some point, just wondered if anyone had the obsolete XC drawing.

Cheers Coatsy, that gives me something to work with for now due to a lack of a drawing. Chunk yes I could, but I really wanted a dimensioned drawing so I could make the profile of the spacer the same as the profile of the hub.

Thanks Hip, doesn't get me riding tomorrow night though. Anyone else?

I'd rather make a spacer like this click me

Oh do be quiet. Do you want me to spell it out? I said it's easy to ride even for an old mincer like me. That's why I'm asking if it's the suspension doing it.

But my wife uses her brakes on any hill even on the road, does this mean she shouldn't ride because she may ruin one of your trails?

Shock but some people may not be as good or confident as you, so they feel they have to brake. That is totally their choice.
Not everyone is a biking god.

if you're pc doesn't have a serial port just buy a £2.50 usb to serial converter off ebay. We use them at work for connecting new PC's to CNC machine tools.

I recently got some from Halfords and CRC the Halfords ones are better as they allow a larger tyre to fit in.

If you dont have 35mm of spacers i doubt you would need to drop the forks for climbing.

*edit* if u like a long top tube 456 if you want a short top tube pace.

I think it's a great law. I see enough dicks flying down descents out of control pin balling from one side to the other just to beat there mate down.

It would be carnage if a hundred or so were there whilst younger and less experienced riders are about.
If you want to race go to a race. Trail centres are great for social rides and for people to experience mountain biking.
