My mate chris mixed it up the front last season in the E12 races at Palace last year:

Even an urban/suburban bungalow can have a fence/hedge/garden for privacy.
Do "normal" houses have one way windows on the ground floor to stop friends etc looking in?

Yeah, on the left. On the right is my sister, AnaNichoola on here.

The board is great for the SW, but her 21.5" Adams egg is often more fun on south coast wind slop.

Sorry Dell, that's rubbish. I lent a bloke at SSEC a bolt (which is why I only had 3!) as two of his had fallen out. His was creaking but hadn't folded. I've seen loads of people ride with a bolt missing without any problems but it appears surly rings are known for folding.

rootes1, why retaining fluid and not loctite?

and yeah the frame survived thanks, finest taiwanese wrought iron 😉

    thanks rootes1 🙄

I check most rides but I find SS bolts are particularly crap. The Surly ring is still poostain

I used to think surly was good until this happened the other week:

What an overpriced piece of junk. Deore costs 75% less and doesn't fold over if a chainring bolt falls out.

I've got a 6'0" Bunty fishy thruster, love it.

Bikes take priority but I probably get a surf every coupla months, often brighton way.

bungalows are safer in the case of house fires.

also, burglars are less likely to break into a bungalow at night precisely because of there being more chance of being disturbed.

    110-140 forks on a PA, 0deg 70mm stem, 40mm rise bars, 5mm spacer.
lowish front ends are ace on a hard tail, good for working those forks

What's the cheapest chainguide that works?

I'm not convinced an N-gage bumpstop is good enough, DMR apparently not that great and a front mech looks poo.

I'm rubbish at beating people over longer than 500m anyway..

LBV doesn't get better over time, it's a bit of a compromise between the better flavour/taste of vintage port without the hassle the crap settling in the bottle etc.

You can only park vehicles with one gear. Therefore unless you are driving a g-wizz, there is nowhere to park.

I used a deore 36 for a while on the SS and had no complaints. I now use a surly which looks like it is wearing more slowly and is proper bling! You can run the chain a bit slacker on the surly ring too due to long teeth with lack of ramps.

Did you see it happen Jim? Rumours and suspicions without proof is very poor form and smacks of bad sportsmanship.

I agree cheating is cheating but I know the girls were quite upset when they overheard some "clean kit" comments. Whenever I saw them they seemed to be tanking along never using their granny rings on the ups and sitting in 70th or so for the timed DH section.

I have man bits BTW, you don't have to be a woman to see how upset competitive men get when they're beaten by pretty girls in pig tails 🙂

Anyone going to put names to their accusations? I think it's such a shame when blokes can't take being beaten by fast girls. I was supporting my sister and her winning Mule Bar girls team for a couple of hours. They seemed to be as muddy anyone else, riding well and I know for a fact that those brand new white skinsuits are never going to be the same again…
One girl from the team is very new to MTBing but is very fit and runs flipping fast and so ran a lot of it. She looked pretty clean apart from her feet and lower legs…

I disagree tracknicko. If 35lbs is too heavy you need to up your fitness game!
I spent a long weekend in the lakes for the first time recently on my beefed up Reign and climbed those hills no problem. Coming down them was ace too

The thing to remember for SS is that you are always in the wrong gear! Therefore don't worry too much, worrying is for geared riders 😛
