No. You cant do a business day trip to New York on a normal airliner – which is apparently what many of Concordes regulars used it for

Worth remembering that Concorde was making money when they started flying again after the crash

My only issue with the hub was the lack of competition. The new place will just be the same. Why not run both and let the punters choose where they want to spend their money?

not quite, with a normal bush tool you can use just a mallet. part of the design of them is to allow changes to be made at races and the like. just need to make sure it doesn’t sink into the ground ;)

is there a navigation tool like nokias ovi maps? I have a htc desire |HD coming on monday and want to be able to use sat nav..

Navigation is indeed an OVI Maps equivalent, however (and this is fairly important for once) you cannnot pre-download the maps. Ie, if your going abroad you cant just get hold of France (for example) and get going. So in the UK you’ll use up some of your data allowance, abroad you’ll just get royally shafted :(

We averaged somewhere between 15-18 mpg on a 1000 mile drive to France a couple of years ago. That was in a 2.5 diesel.

4wd, heavy + aerodynamics of a family home does not make for an economical cruiser.

Yeah they get right into the damper, clean that out, put in new seals & oil and rebuild. Takes around half an hour on the jobs I’ve seen.

Business is business. I’m sure the new place will sell good, over-priced, food too. Hell, bacon baguettes might even make a comeback! :-)

Nobody think the Desire HD is a bit on the chunky side then??

I’m hoping to get upgrade my phone in the next week or so. Top of the list is the HTC Desire, althought the Legend could be tempting instead (cheaper = better for finding in your pocket halfway round a ride).

Looked into the Desire HD, but its something like 16% bigger and 25% heavier than the normal desire so cant be bothered with that
