In which case you are doing it wrong. Just about the easiest/cleanest/simplest setup there is.

Bollocks. In many years of riding a WTB tyre/rim combo is the first time I’ve ended up just going “**** it” and using mole grips to unseat the bead. They are now sitting with a 40C Nano on them that my previously undefeated Flashcharger can’t shift at all. From previous threads I’m not the only one that feels this way either.

My use of Stans, Mavics and Hunts hasn’t ever resulted in any of that nonsense. Even when they had tubes in the WTBs were still massively tight on the rims.

Feel free to give pointers though

We’ve got a Chariot but since he’s been big enough for a Wee Ride it’s not been touched. So definitely not worth going overboard with the trailer

WTB rims are absolutely **** terrible to setup or remove tubeless tyres from, so would ignore anything they publish.

Two Gaelic schools under increasing demand and expanding in Glasgow, Some folk obviously interested in maintaining some culture.

Alternatively, they go because of the smaller class sizes than normal schools and Gaelic is just something they have to deal with

Public bodies all have to have a Gaelic Language plan.

Simples: “we plan not to use the silly dead language”

Sounds like the cyclist was at fault

Well, my windscreen is steeply raked enough that mounting the Cam under the rear mirror would have the lead dangling vertically down through the middle of my computer screen,

So is mine, you just route the cable up and around the windscreen, into the footwell area and connect to wherevers convenient. I’ve got maybe 3 inches visible at each end, which will obviously reduce to 3 inches total when I hardwire it

And you have lead dangling down the dash which personally I hate.

I haven’t even got round to installing my hardwire kit and I don’t have that

Was a poster on DW who used to race a rigid Kona, 4thdeadmonk/13thfloorezzi

13thfloormonk is still very much a poster here too. Will have to be a fight between the old skool rigid SDA racers for who it was in the photo though

Planes will still be flying. The Pound has already tanked against the Euro. Assuming you’re staying with her Dad you have no accommodation issues. I’d just get it booked

What pressures are you running at the moment? I’m running 75PSi at my hefty 63kg (plus Christmas), could probably actually go slightly lower

Not ridden with him since he setup his own company, but would trust Ben Jones for some good riding: https://www.benjonesmtb.com

Really? Given the little news about the accident other than ‘very serious head injury’ what makes you think he is capable of an interview?

It didn’t even occur to me that was the accident being referred to – what a bizarre statement

a Vitus e-bike specifically though, so even GW can be involved!

Ferrari weren’t at the meeting: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2005_United_States_Grand_Prix#Attempts_at_compromise

Even if the statement from Bernie about what Todt said is ropey, his actual “I wouldn’t have agreed” comment came after the minutes had been published.

Also “The nine team principals who were present then resolved that, unless they and the FIA could come to a decision in the best interest of the sport, they would not participate in the race.”

Then there was the massive threat from FIA/Moseley about all FIA staff being removed from the race and then that the FIA would go to town on any/every FIA race (of any type) held in the states!

Don’t get me wrong, Todt could have decided to be more involved but I dont feel it can be laid at Schumachers door.

Yeah that one and the Villeneuve incidents in particular I’ll never understand

The FIA knocked back the chicane, not Ferrari

He is possibly facing a prosecution for assault

Assuming he did it, do you need a good, expensive, lawyer to plead guilty?

It’s my understanding that Michelin (who started the almighty **** up by not taking into account the new surface) didn’t have any safe tyres up their sleeve to use (or certainly not enough of them). Which is why they suggested a chicane was added at the last minute, but that was knocked on the head and the FIA told them they would just have to lift off *insert facepalm here*. From my perspective he was paid to get in a car and drive, he shouldn’t have been involved in meddling with the tyre issue.

    Then this was just pathetic

Not sure how Michelin and the FIAs **** up taints him?

In debt at 16 sounds very unwise.

As boring as it sounds, being in debt sucks. Being in debt for something you dont actually need still sucks. Being in debt and then having to also spend money replacing things that you break or wear out really really sucks.

Perhaps go second hand for now (lots of nice bikes to be had on Pinkbike) and save up for the new one? In the meantime you can have a smug feeling that someone else took the depreciation hit on the second hand bike you’ve got yourself

Tough one! Would be a real shame to see it sitting going to waste, but no idea how you’d put a value on it.

Will be watching with interest though as I’ll be needing to get hold of a balance bike by the summer

Keep going back and looking at the photo as it’s bloody brilliant!

They just send you to the correct part of the train. We had a T5 on the single decker part without any extra ££ being spent. Same with using the ferry

Assuming this car is ancient and/or high mileage, have you not got an independent garage you can go to instead of a Main Stealer?

    It does seem that way

Just slide your controls and grips along the bar until you find the place that works best for you. Then chop off what you find you dont need

Yeah she does have a few issues that were worth the edit.
I reckon the sat nav bit isn’t too daft. Getting right to the front door though….

EDIT: and back up the drive and into the garage

Was aimed at the self proclaimed legend not you.

Bless your wee cottons, I didn’t realise my, chosen in a rush when i’d just been watching Legend racing cars, username upset you so much. If you want you can report me and ask the mods to change it to something that doesn’t upset you?

Not many complaints with the rear suspension, I use full travel all the time but don’t feel any harsh bottoming out. Could use some less pedal kickback but that’s it.

If the rear is bottoming all the time then that’s not setup well either

Love to see all the mouth breather as an insult people do anything proper physical with their lips stapled together and not fall on the floor…

People have been running DHFs front and rear since they came out 10+ years ago. It works well

    file patern

That’s the problem, there are hunners with a file tread but there are some straight up grass climbs that are a proper struggle for traction even with something a bit more nobbly – which makes selection a bit of a pain in the balls

The hardtail has semi-slicks for smashing teh gnar with the boy. TBH any mtb is overkill for the trails round here, so I just use the CX bike with its original wheels on, and I **** hate the tyres – 40C Bling Blings is actually exactly what I’m after!

hhmmm maybe I should reign back the ‘mud’ part a little. Got 33c Terreno Wets for racing, so no interest in something like that. Basically they are for everything other than just gravel, but no full-blown CX Somme level riding

This could have been dealt with very quickly and effective

Fancy telling us how, or are you keeping it on a need to know basis?
