I love Gore kit, I had an Alp X jacket off Santa, last Saturday on the second time of wearing it I caught the right arm on a bush, tore a hole in it – I'm well miffed.

The Endura Air Defence jacket looks pretty good for the money though.

I like that new movie that's out at the moment in a few select cinemas, Avatar.

I would suggest a Lurcher, but you don't want a Greyhound/Whippet type dog. I have to say though that once you let a Lurcher in to your house (and on the sofa) you'll never want another breed. Although I bet most breed owners would say the same. You can get short haired, long haired. Smaller tumbler type to full on Deer/Greyhound crosses.

Depending on the parentage they don't need too much excercise, they're happy to be left alone too.

If fact the only problem is they spark so many conversations when your out walking with them it gets a bit tiresome.

Retro83, 24lbs with summer tyres on. I'm sure it could go on a diet but I have the finesse of a drunk hippo.

How big are your shoes Barry? You must've had to go 3 sizes up to get all that lot in.

Just put some water on his front step, get up evey hour during the night and do it again.

Then watch in the morning when he goes out to buy the Star or whatever.

If you've never eaten soya before I'd try eating just one first before you start chomping on them regularly. Some people (me included) have allergic reactions to it which make them dizzy and nauseous, it affected me after my veggie missus made a massive soya spagbog which I shared with myself.

I'm sure they'd be great as part as balanced diet, protein bars have their place, especially if you've just trained and can't rustle up a shake, the carbs will be an essential part of the bars because, I believe it aids protein take up in the muscle.

I tried that last year Hora, it didn't work very well and I had an annoying orange stain on the drive/road outside our house for ages afterwards.

You can find an Endura sizing guide on the Endura website, funnily enough.

    http://www.endura.co.uk/images/ecom/dept/l/Size%20Guide.jpg

I'm a 34" in waist and had a pair of Endura Venturi 3/4 in L which were too big, the Medium ones were too short though.

There's going to be less Shimanao goods on the market next year so their prices will go up – apparently.

Sounds like the barrel has come loose in the housing, try and hold A/B(wedge a screwdriver) whilst inserting the key and unlocking.

You'd need to get the whole thing redrilled and pinned properly to stop it happening again which will be a ball ache, and I guess expensive. I used to work for Fortress Interlocks years ago and their interlocks were similar.

I had 08 Fox Talas on mine, cost me £400ish last August from the states. I wish I'd have stuck to some fixed 100mm forks because I couldn't get used to the bike when they were set at 120mm.

She's be fine, it's not that difficult, there's plenty of places to pass and pretty much everyone I've ever seen there has been really friendly.

I've seen a guy running on the fire road next to one of the first sections (where the slabs of rock are) giving his missus a trail lesson, LEFT CRANK HIGH! RIGHT CRANK HIGH! Crash.

Give it a go you'll have a great time, cakes from the tea shop are pretty good too.

My missus was a TA now she's a learning mentor at a primary school, I don't know what LSU means though.
