Cant you use the existing cables to pull new cables.. In my opinion the cables need replaced even if there is no earth tab on the fittings themselves.. And use the new lights as junction boxes.

Cyclewise Cockermouth, or whinlatter will do a good job for you, for a reasonable cost.

My fast carbon bike with 55mm wheels sometimes suffers from horrific speed wobble, and yes it can be terrifying. It seems to only occur in certain wind conditions though. I think its more a function of the head angle on the bike. If you have it slammed you could add a few spacers underneath the stem, it seems worse the more aggressive your position. I just dont take it out on windy days.

Im in Cumbria, and have had wool cavity wall injected. Works a treat, no damp.. Not sure who did it though, was done through a grant scheme some years ago.

Go to the doctor, and ask for a full blood test. Make sure to include testosterone, or they will leave it out.

I still think its worth while long term, without the FIT. A 4kw setup will heat your hot water tank nearly year round, with an immersun, or similar setup. Plus if you have someone working from home, or home most of the time its a no brainer, because you can do all your washing etc through the day when sun is out.

As mentioned michelin lithion 2s are excellent. I use them on my winter bike. Cheap, fastish, durable.

Classic thread.. When this is dramatised by Sky Atlantic, or Netflix, hope its called a spate of 2. This thread read like a Sherlock Holmes novel.

my scaffolder usually charges about £750 including a nib for slate stacking, for front or back, if acces is good. Around £1650 for full detached house.

i would not bother. If you are going to move it will be cheaper to get indemnity insurance  against a non certified structure, rather than paying the building regs fees, which are something like £160 as i remeber, without checking.

I tend to just use a black pen, and ruler. Planning have never laughed or complained yet.

Im not sure about zwift, but trainer road has tons of stuff that mimic enduro stuff. intervals of around 4 mins with sprints and the like. with recoverry inbetween. My go to on TR is sufferfest violator. 5, 10 and 15 sec intervals. if i can finish that with good power, i know im on for a result.
As mentioned before though some base miles help with energy across a weekend, and recovery. Outdoors, i tend to target uphill sprints on strava of around 40secs, this helps when there is any kick ups in a race.

There is a thread on the green building forum mirroring almost exactly this situation, and it extends to thousands of posts. All good advice, but dont expect the council to act on your behalf without a lot of hassle.

I always include a trip to kaolak, which is pretty laid back in itself. But it is the best place to catch a boat out to similan, or surin islands. In jan it wont be to busy, and the water will be crystal clear. its the most beatiful place in thailand by a stretch.

You might be able to help. In a bottom episode when Richie is reading w&p, he says at least they spelt the cat wrong. Please explain this joke to me. It’s probably obvious, but I never got it.

if the water coming through the hot tap is the same flow as before, only cold. then it is not an air lock. more sinister forces are at work. Have you a secondary return, or temprature valve anywhere on the system?

You may be able to get a sonoff switch for what you are trying to achieve. I love them, they are cheap, and you can switch just about anything by wifi/alexa etc.

If value is a metric.. Keep the capra. I doubt you could slip a fag paper between them performance wise. The capra wins only due to value.

Search for Sonoff. They do remote switches for cheap, and they are very good.

A few things appeal to me, aswell as voice controlled music etc, i like the thought of syncing with our tesco delivery to add food stuffs. Also sonoff switches can be used to control the immersion heater. And i believe it can be used with honeywell evo home.

My advice as a long time fly angler, is spend money on good rod designed for the water you will be fishing. A fly line for under a tenner will perform 95% of a top ender. fly reels only hold line really, you could get an old rimfly or something on ebay for nowt. The good thing about fly fishing is its 100% technique and skill, not money. tight lines, lee

If you start pulling it apart, i dread to think what you may find. If its lath and plaster it may end up being a tear down and reboard.

Nothing but a good experience for me. Had a carbon capra for 2 years, has not missed a beat, apart from sagging reverb, which was sorted with a new one in 1 week.

Well done on your progress. i am still following this thread with interest, and seeing what i can achieve myself. If i was your coach though i would be suggesting you focus on speed, and power. endurance next, then weight loss. some weight loss should come along the way as a function of the plan. keep up the good work. i have gone from thinking it impossible , to thinking maybe!

Just stick with SSE for your feed in tariff. we have remained with the original payer through a few energy supplier switches.

A 2.5 t&e from board to attic for solar panels. 10 mm to front of house for electric car charging. If you have space in an out building for biomass heating in the future, think about cat 5, 5 core cable, 4mm for distribution to run it.
