    I think what you need is a G shock, they were half price at argos, slightly over budget at £60 but bulletproof,
    Look pretty cool to.

    Sounds like a sting, I nearly got done like that when I was selling my 65 bug, guy wires the money over to me and made all the excuses for not viewing the car, I later found out that the money showing in my account was not traceable and could not be collected.
    So I nearly lost out on 5k!!

    Be careful

    The last bike I posted was £27, medium sized hardtail.
    Royal mail are more expensive from what I remember. Most couriers are good enough,
    Have you got a bike box?
    If not go and ask at halfords, although there shite if you ask any technical bike related questions!!
    There happy to give you a box or 2

    Thanks got the help.
    I wasn’t intending that the stans and hope hubs would be swapped for free,
    Bike is built when I order it so all parts are new, that’s why I was thinking about swapping parts out at this stage.

    I had an inbred last year, it was really good. Apart from the paint chipping off quite easy.
    I replaced a whyte 19 carbon for the inbred and it did all I asked and more.i had 130mmforks on it.
    It was a hoot.
    A lot of snobs out there though who turn there nose up at you. But there quiet when you beat them down though.

    For the price you can’t really go wrong

    I’m currently in this dilemma, not rode flats since 2004 ish, clipped in since then. I’m due a new bike next month but not sure whether to get some saints flats thrown in or some xt spd’s
    I ride my roadie clipped in and always will.
    I might give flats a go and see how I get on, gonna take a while to lift the back wheel or bunny hop me thinks,piece of cake clipped in but flats is another story all together!!

    As long as it’s been looked after then it will be fine, a mate of mine has a t5 with 200k+ on it, still runs like a dream

    I agree to, I commute by bike and on my ride to and from work I see at least 5-6 cyclists with no helmets,lights etc etc.
    Just ridiculous, helmets should be law.
    I don’t use cycle paths as the ones along my commute are full of pot holes,glass and loose gravel!!!

    Sounds crazy but I ran schwalbe kojaks on my rigid mtb for 2 years in all weathers with no trouble at all. There slicks so ultra fast rolling, great puncture protection and strangely never lost traction in the wet.

    I last used flats in 2003 on my spesh enduro, dmr v8’s to be precise but I got sick of them bashing my shins and punching holes in them, so I went to clip in and have never looked back. I ride clips on the road bike. However I may give flats another chance and see how I get on.

    Cheers all

    Shadowfax;
    I was looking at travel to but I’m told a 29er wheel is like 20mm of travel so plus a 120mm
    Fork, it should be fine, but I know where your coming from.

    Gordy;
    Yeah alu only, I’ve had steel on my last ht so want a change.

    Grobin;
    Hamsters is my local stomping ground so That’s good that the bird handles the black and red with no issues, I’ll add that to the mix.

    That’s normal for westbrooks, they’re an excellent bunch of lads, always seem to go the extra mile for you. I bought my lad a bike from there and they threw in a free Scott helmet which was £30!!

    Great shop

    I learnt to ride one last year, 20 inch wheel Is for the beginner and it’s where I started. I rode it every day for about 1 hour and I was riding along unaided happily after a few weeks.
    If your committed you can do it in 1-2 weeks,
    Look on you tube for tips, I did and picked it up a lot quicker, great fun but you will get strange looks and pointed at like your a freak!
    You could look for a local club, that way you’ll learn quicker, there is a local club near me but I never went along.

    Good luck and welcome to the circus

    Main role will be commuting so the durano is the best option from what I’ve read,
    But will it affect weekend blasts? Or are they good enough for all round use
