I thought they were good tyres till I upgraded them to schwalbe one’s
The one’s felt much faster and had plenty more grip.
There ok to get you started and if your happy with them then there’s no point in changing yet.

I’ve got one, I’ve had it a couple of years now, it’s fine, does everything I want it to, loads of adjustment on it to. Decent for the money imo

I’m a size medium, I’ve been looking at the vapour storm on sports pursuit. Winder if that would be OK on the bike

I have quite a few gore items and find them excellent, I’ll keep a beady eye out for a deal.
I’m not a big fan of endura as I feel they don’t last and are definitely not waterproof/showerproof imo. I’ve had a endura jackets and waterproof trousers for the mtb in the past, very disappointed

I’ve just bought a 2015 cannondale super six evo 105.
It is a racy position but also I find it very comfortable, more so than my defy I had before this.
I ride then cake and home etc and it’s ace.
Get the dale you won’t be disappointed.
There’s also the fact that you can go to a local dealer and try the dale where as canyons online only.(I believe)

I used endura singletrack trousers for commuting and also winter rides on the mtb. Brilliant trousers, breathable, look normal enough to get away with off the bike.
    Think there around £40-50.
I’ve had mine for 4 years now and there still going strong

Just ordered one. Thanks for the heads up.
    Even if it’s s**t it’s only £1

I think the only difference over the 2015 ultegra and 105 is the weight.
That’s from what i’ve read online reviews etc.
I have just bought a 2015 cannondale supersix evo 105. I am whole heartedly recommend the it.

Schwalbe kojak, even though there slicks I ran them for 2 years commuting in all weathers, never really felt loss of grip and never had a puncture.
    Absolutely ace tyres, fast!!!

I’m kind of in the same dilemma, I’m trying to decide over a defy advanced or a propel.
I must admit the propel looks the business.
But on another roadie forum I asked this question.
I think for what I need it’s going to be the defy.
    Sportives and general riding.
But the price of the propel does sway you doesn’t it??

I’ve been going to center parcs for a few years now and always take my bike, we are going to Woburn in June for the first time.
I normally don’t leave it around the parc, I keep it in the lodge and use it with the kids for bike rides rather than means of getting about the parc. I just run next to the kids as they use there bikes for getting about to.
Whinfell and sherwood pines are a must take your bike,
This year I’m gonna buy a SS rigid mtb and take that.
I’ve seen some rather expensive rigs locked up in the bike parcs over the years but I wouldn’t do it myself.

I have an selle Italia slr saddle and it’s awesome, albeit it took about 6 months of riding everyday to get comfy, but now it’s amazing, also stupidly light

    Nice bike,
    I was thinking of buying/building a highball,

What travel up front have you opted for?

    lee170

Spesh butcher are pretty decent front tyres, confidence inspiring and way cheaper then maxxis or schwalbe.

I narrowly missed a car that pulled out in front of me at a junction, I let him know that he nearly wiped me out, his reply; what the **** was you doing in the middle
    Of the road!
My reply; I wasn’t but had no choice to avoid you!!!

I just associate back pain with getting older!!
    I don’t have any pain

    lee170

Yeah true, I just want a trail bike that’s capable of climbing without losing a lung!
Also enough travel to get me down without feeling underbiked

Seriously considering a spesh camber evo
29 inch wheels and 120mm travel.
Given the big wheels I reckon there’s enough travel there.

    Back ache old age(ish)
I think I’ll be better off on full suss sooner rather than later. Don’t get me wrong I still love hardtails and will probably build one up for winter months

I’ll def check out the camber, my lbs bikescene is a spesh dealer to

    lee170

Spesh is an option I’ll have a look at that,
Cannondale triggers don’t get great reviews and the rush looks a bit naff now.
Canyon I like and the spec is unreal for the money, long waiting times and a nightmare if I have a problem with the bike.
