    Purgatory no good?
I’ve only been out on it once and it felt grippy, seemed to roll fine. I had nobby nics in my last bike which were skittish as hell. Fast though

    Any recommendations for front tyre?

I know it’s a very personal thing. Just getting a general sensus of majority really. I have spd’s and the new bike comes with flats, I’ll try both and see how I get on

Thanks for the replies. I also read the 2016 review. I’ve seen the 2015 review to which seem very positive
I’ve got the chance to test ride it on proper trails tomo afternoon so I’ll see what it’s like.
Weather looks awful though, would of been nice to test ride it on dry fast trails but hey ho

    I live in eaglescliffe/Yarm.
I’m only 40 mins drive from hamsterly which is awesome, heading south I’d say 20 mins drive to the north York moors where there’s some really good natural trails, guisborough trails within 15 mins to.
Plenty of country road rides on the door step.
It’s a decent place to live if you bike

Which Castillo jacket have you got op?
I’ve been looking at the squadra long, but if this is the one you have then I may look elsewhere.

This is a n+1 thread. The road bike is only 6 ish months old and is here to stay, I meant that I want one mtb for all duties, family, trail centres etc etc
    Sorry to confuse people.

I dropped into Westbrook cycles yesterday, the new cannondale range looks ace, the beast from the east with the 27.5+ wheels and the habit look awesome. The + wheels maybe overkill for me though

I been using endura mt500 overshoes for a few years now, they are good, a lot better than just socks.
But they do wear quicker on the mtb than my roadie ones, but that goes without saying

I have been carrying a waterproof with me, but when I’ve had to put it on, within 5 mins I’m red hot, I have a fairly good jacket. I think I’m gonna go down the gilet route and see how that is

It sounds like it’s ideal for me. I don’t mind checking my data at the end with a cup of coffee, so I can download onto garmin connect then see the data all at once, I only need speed, distance, time etc whilst I’m out on the bike, it’s a bonus that it’s ant+ to as I like the idea of having a cadence sensor
