I cancelled on live chat then waited for the inevitable phonecall to beg me to comeback, the offer was good so I did.

Same here. Cancelled on live chat, then was immediately offered 50% off TV for 12 months via the green button. Held out a few weeks and was offered 50% off TV for 12 months, £50 cashback/credit all with no renewal of contract.

    Fair point, well made.

    No problem :-)

Really interested to hear The Getaway, will be the first album since BSSM without Rick Rubin on production. Dark Necessities has really grown on me after a few listens…

Sorry to be pedantic, but it’s Blood Sugar Sex Magik

I think each album since BSSM has given us some great songs, but for the ‘complete’ album it has to be BSSM. And yep, watch ‘Funky Monks’ as it’s a brilliant insight into the making of the album.

Ah Ray Ransom! The man who introduced SISU to my team, Coventry City.

Hedge funds? Refusal to pay rent? Relegations? Judicial reviews? Playing ‘home’ games 35 miles away? We’ve got the lot and more…

We’re at the same point now. Our King Charles Spaniel will be 15 in January, she’s completely deaf and sleeps most of the day. She still enjoys a small walk and a fuss though. She had a stroke a few years back and battled back from that but when do you make the call to end things before they start suffering?

    So tough

Tesco just came up trumps for me as well. Although worryingly a chap in front of me at customer service was returning his PS3 disc as it kept giving him an error code. Anyone else had similar?

Wife – Can we go bed shopping at lunch time?
Me – Only if I can get GTA V on the way.
    Wife – Go on then.

    Result!

I gave my 26th donation today. I’m lucky in that we have a mobile unit visit our business park every 16 weeks, so just nip out of work for an hour. Never more than 10 minutes over on appointment time. Really is an easy and worthwhile thing to do in my eyes.

Ib77 – is that ‘The Jockey’ in Rawmarsh?

Nope, this fine establishment in on The Chatsworth (if you’re of a Shameless persuasion).

Although is does look rather similar to where my mum and dad spent their yoof….

Got our first caravan this year as well and we love it. Our boys are 2 and 5 and it’s a great adventure for them. Doesn’t matter if we’re 30 minutes up the road or down at the coast, it’s a break from the normal routine.
We bought an older 5 berth model to start with to see how we got on but must admit I’m already thinking about what we’ll upgrade to :-)
Helps that my old man has had his own caravan maintenance and repair business for the last 20 odd years as well….

I’ve used Metsuki.com in the past with no issues. Tried frames on the high street, then just ordered online. Arrived within days.
Last order though I went back to Boots as I get 50% off frames and the lenses through my contact lense subscription :-)

Got goose bumps just reading this thread. Our King Charles Spaniel is 13 and had a stroke back in February, really did think that was her time. She’s made a remarkable recovery though and is currently sat next to me sun bathing.
