I used to curse these evil little fittings which seemed to conspire against me and would fail at most inopportune moment tried all different makes. until I had problem with boiler my plumber said water pressure in my area was way to high and fitted a pressure regulator
since then all is sweetness and light with my hose fittings just a thought.
Penmachno worth a go very underrated , I loved it we had crap evil weather but still came out grinning , not much in way of facilitys there , so go prepared
A few years back arrived for work to find big BBC van blocking entrance to car park this was a Thursday morning it was there filming songs of praise at adjoining church. It was bit of hassle to drive round block to the other entrance. I settled into work ten minutes later colleague arrived cursring and chuntering on that some big van had blocked car park entrance .I explained to him that it was BBC filming songs of praise his reply ” I thought songs of praise was on Sunday” what a plank
echo all good advice so far ,factor in somewhere to store logs to dry out may need fair bit of space, cos free wood can be feast or famine when its about,need to be quick so need suitable vehicle to transport,then there is a chainsaw and safety kit etc and jolly big axe. splitting and stacking logs is so theraputic.
but cracking fire in depths of dark cold winter is just lush:) :-)
