First, rip out old gas fire and back boiler, then rip plaster off chimney breast looking for ‘original features’:

Next, prepare brickwork, a bit of re-pointing with lime mortar. Leave old flue in place. Make good the hearth. Leave the old soot staining from the ‘original’ stove (NOT off the backboiler!):

Then, get up onto roof, undo the bracket holding the old flue in place, then go back down and yank the flue out making sure you bring as much old soot down too. Then install new multi-fuel stove:

Then you’re set. Make sure 1st fire is a wee one:

Now, if only I could get Molly out for a walk! (note the boots and trainers drying):

Finally, a pic of my pitiful wood pile  :

The formula for working out the endotrachael tube size in children is:

    age/4 + 4 (or 4.5).

Or, if you’re in a hurry and don’t know said child’s age just use the width of their little finger and select a tube of the same diameter (approxiamtely).

Also, when cutting said tube to length be sure to use the formula:

    age/2 + 12.

    I find telling them:

    “Mmm, they sound nice”

    usually works.

Our 5 year old Clio has been (crosses fingers at this point etc!) no bother, apart from the ignition barrel seizing up a few days after we got it (repaired under warranty obviously). Other than that it’s been a great little car.

+1 for High On. I ordered some cranks late on a Friday afternoon, they upgraded the postage to Special Delivery free of charge just so I could have them for the weekend and get them fitted.

Always use them for road bike bits.

    Top guys, really helpful.

Sleazy Jet to CDG, then take the RER to Chatelet then get on route A4 to Marne le Vallee. Cheaper than the Disney Shuttle by far.

We went for a long weekend, of 4 days it was 2 days too long (a day in each park is sufficient). Food was really expensive and sh1t quality, everyone seemed to smoke, especially when in the queue for a ride. Disney Hotel was really basic, really really basic (Hotel Cheyenne). Breakfast time was a fookin’ joke, it was like a free for all. Best bit? Aerosmith’s Rock-n-Rollercoaster and Terror of Tower.

    Would I go again? No

Do yourself and your family a favour, save a little more and take them to Florida, or if it was me, Californ-i-a.

I drilled my Dave Yates Diablo frame years back to put some bosses in for a Crud Catcher.

Mr Yates wasn’t the least bit happy when I took the frame in for a respray
Apparantely it’s not a good idea. I didn’t have the frame long after that, decided to sell it on.

+1 for the Mito 135. Just ordered ours after having a look at the Cooper S. Lack of room in the Mini was the killer. Having test drove the 135bhp I don't think I'd be brave enough to drive the Cloverleaf model, the 135 is plenty quick.

Now we only have to wait at least 14 weeks for it to be delivered :?

    I can't get the link to work :? :?

Go over to Weight Weenies, do a search for Yokozuna and there's quite a few pages to read. Especially the discussion thread on Yokozuna Cable Housing.

Sorry about the linkey-thing not working!

It looks lush, I won't be using it that often, if I get it, as I mainly ride blacktop ( ).

Will if fit on a Middleburn crank?

Not been on a mountain bike since Jan '09. The guys I used to ride regularly with seemed to lose interest. It got to the point where I was going out on my own and so thought **** it, I'm sick of this sh1t, and so sold my mountain bike and got into the road scene.

It renewed my interest in cycling (and spending silly money on bike parts again  )

I also ride an alu front/carbon rear stay bike and a full carbon mutha.

For me, the full carbon mo-fo is by far the comfiest……………for me (near identical geometry, despite being from different manufacturers)
