What is the purpose of a peak on a MTB helmet?

I know it makes you look more RAD but it cant be that………….can it??

Ive been using a skateboard helmet due to lack of cash but I do suffer from boiled head syndrome. It got too much last week so there's a proper MTB helmet on its way in the post

Handbrake is what I use on Linux….not sure if its available for windows though

owning a mobile phone or using an internet service provider is a profoundly more invasive concept but we'll happily give up our privacy for convenience on that one.

This is our own choice though. We can all choose to give up whatever bits of privacy we want compared to the benefits we receive but its different when privacy is taken away without our choice

Thats more a less what I thought. My idea of a service would be stripping down gears and brakes and relubing etc.
I was going to offer to service the guy at work's bike until he said he had 2 bent wheels, the brakes didnt work and the gears didnt shift properly. He appears to be under the delusion that all this will be sorted by Halfords for £17 🙄

I the same problem that is now cured with messing about with handlebar height/angle. I also got a shorter stem 60mm (original was 120mm) which had the most effect

There are a few new cyclepaths that have been built close to where I live. Guess what, there full of people walking about! Standing about chatting and giving me funny looks when I ride slowly past at 2 mph.
I say ride where you want within reason, give way to people on foot and horses and smile a lot

HD is quite processor hungry so you probably need a better processor. Dual core should do it then maybe a better video card or a motherboard with decent onboard graphics

I think it's time someone invented solar panel bike helmets

I would like to see one of those Hollywood serial killers move into the area and start bumping off the cast one by one. Nigel Pargiter could become super sleuth and be on the case managing to solve all the clues to the next murder but arriving on the scene slightly too late everytime.

It could run for years. New characters could be introduced a bit like the ones in Star Trek that wear the red shirts so that you know that there going to meet a sticky end

A new drive is the way to go otherwise you will have to spend ages defragging windows to get all the white space at the end of the drive so you can partition it safely

Surely Mountain bikers should be exempt if riding the moors…….what if one of them mythical Puma's/Leopards etc decide to make a meal of you? A leatherman might be your only defence 😯

They were Ok on flattish trails but I fell off twice on slower technical bits due to not getting my foot out of them quick enough so I ditched em. I'm sure if I practised more with them they would become like second nature but just wondered if it was worth it. I havent fell off since I removed them so thats an improvement 😀

Cheers…the pedals seem grippy enough so I will stick with em…..the shinpads sound like a good idea though
