Regardless of whether or not the riders are on drugs I seem to be really enjoying the tour this year, more so than the last few years.
Maybe this has something to do with the fact that Ive just got a roadbike on the C2W scheme though 😯

Did 4 1/2 hours (Road, cyclepath, canal) yesterday and saw at least 50 roadriders and twenty or so MTB’rs.

Saw plenty of others in cars with bikes on roof…but they were possibly heading home from STW weekender

Have you set your cleats up to allow for your foot position?

    No….not sure what you mean
I’m using Crank bros cleats with Acids if it’s relevant

I do have to twist quite a lot to get them out

Ah yes its all coming back…Cowhorns, Grifter, scrambling.

I did have a full suss in the 70’s briefly….It was like a scrambler motorbike without the engine but with pedals. Unfortunately it weighed a ton so my dad sold it in the Manchester Evening news classifieds

I had this problem when I was using a shimano shifter with SRAM rear mech, chain and cassette so it could be a compatibility thing.

Some old Kona bulge chromed steel ones.

Theyre sort of unbreakable downhill things but I want something a bit less bling and a bit lighter for my usual XC activities

In Ibooks click on books(from the top menu items Edit, Books, Store) and it will give you the option of choosing books or PDF’s.

Thats how it works on my ipod touch anyway

I have been using them for a few weeks as I do a bit of road riding. They do roll really well..I have the 2.1’s which look more like 2.0’s.

I also use them up at Lee Quarry and general bridleway/footpath riding around Rossendale/Todmorden. I think they’re excellent in the dry not too sure about the wet though. They were a bit skittish in the mud but I try and avoid lots of mud where possible.

As a back tyre they should be excellent…..I am thinking of getting something a bit grippier on the front but havent got round to it yet
