Your wife may not be a fan of the good old Ford Mondeo but i can tell you they are a very good vehicle which has more than enough room for a family.I would say they are bigger than the Passat or Octavia.I can also get two bike in the back with ease with only the front wheels and saddles removed.I could get more but have never had the need.
Test drive a mondeo you will find them a good motor. The higher spec you can get the better.I have a Ghia X which is tremendous and has good fuel economy.Best of luck.

Looks great, I’ve been wanting a ToP they look nice to ride. Out of interest how much is a few hundred? Is everything on it brand spanking? Think I may have to purchase one!

There is a camp site in les gets, its up the hill from the town similar to Marmottes. Takes a while getting back up the hill but part of one DH section finishes just along the road, so you can get the lift up ride down and save a tug up at the end of the day.
The downside is that its up a hill in the alps, we were planning on going into town but after a long days riding sacked it off and slept, the toilets and showers are nice and the whole site is relatively quiet with a nice atmosphere for a family.
Not too expensive either, I’ve travelled most of Europe through campsites and if memory serves me it was 24 Euro a night for three adults, a tent and a car parking space on the site. Bloke who runs it doesn’t speak much English but he’s laid back and doesn’t like a hassle, he likes the noise kept down of a night too so should be good for kids.

I’m in my last year of an MEng in mechanical engineering, one thing I’d say is make sure you do mechanical engineering as apposed to other strains such as automotive or aerospace. It gives you a broader base to work from as the other degrees can be very specialised, something which many employers I’ve applied for look at. It’ll be a lot of hard work but worth it, I don’t know if HNC/Ds are accredited by the IMechE but if they are a course with that accreditation would be worth looking at.

06 Spesh Enduro with a DHX Air and probably upgrade my AM SL’s to Fox 36’s. That or invest in a full on DH bike, looking at going to France for an extended period of time riding so its already on the cards..intense socom or iron horse sunday are two options.

I heard she was smuggling into her room and making paper mache life size models of all the family so no need to worry. Do what my parents used to do for me, by the worst stuff you can the stuff thats like tracing paper and keep the nice triple velvet stuff for yourself! 😀
