My MINI Cooper SD Clubman seems to go better on V power diesel. So that makes me buy it happily. Possibly a ‘placebo’ affect ! (not unlike a lot of bike things then !)

I saw it today with my son and thought it a good movie. Not a disappointment like another recent film. TDKR is quite long however the film was absorbing enough to make the time pass fine. My only difficulty is accepting Christian Bale as not being that nice little lad from Empire of The Sun.

The weather mainly, though there does seem to be TDF and Olympic fever out there at the moment which is quite fun to behold. Loads and loads of people on usually virtually deserted roads etc.

TVCatchup does not work abroad, like iPlayer etc. I have googled some subscription services however I would like some first hand recommendations if possible.

I set mine up via the blackberry mobileemail website not the handset. That is on Vodafone though, I don’t know about other networks.

My original soundock does that sometimes ! I think it’s the power supply however its now so beaten up i wont be persuing the repair route.I will add that I have been very happy with mine, it is nice and portable with decent sound.

I have recently had a similar situation (mainly the son parking outside my house, leaving ample spaces in their drive! wtf?) and decided to nicely and politely speak to my neighbours about it. The end result is they don’t park outside my house anymore, (they park outside the people across the road) and don’t talk to me anymore ! FFS ! I have since realised that as I didn’t have much to do with them anyway it’s a win win 🙂

I recently bought a Panasonic Plasma, I had a budget of around £500 and after trawling all the shops Mrs L & I agreed that the picture quality of the Plasmas was noticably better than the LCD/LED TV’s at a similar price point. (I saw some really superb LCD stuff priced at £1000 +) Our only concern was size, Panasonic Plasma TVs start at 42 inch.

The size turned out to be really good, and I am really pleased with the picture and sound quality, it is also very good with non HD channels.

Some say that a Plasma could last only as long as 5 years… TBH, and that is a poor scenario, £100 per year sounds good to me !

My son will get his new bike this Saturday. Then his Hotrock 24 will be getting sold………. It’s the Black and Silver swoopy framed one.

He has had it from new, I bought it from a LBS and I am pretty sure it is in very good condition.
