Looked at a crankset on CRC today at 3pm.. Good price etc was £170. Had to work and couldn’t go through with the purchase at that time. Excited I went to buy them at 5.30pm, by which time the price had increased to £276 !!!

Amazing cars , I used to live in the flat above Haslemere Sports Cars in Camelsdale where the late John Foulston’s cars were prepared.. Lola T70, Mclaren M8 (D I think) amongst others…… Not the worst noise to wake one up on a Sunday morning.

Nice and bright , perfectly secure, however I don’t really like the twist the lens switch. It has been fine so far but I suspect that will be its weakness, plastic threads etc. Also not the easiest to turn off.
Do I like it ? Yes
Would I buy it again ? No

If it is stainless then it won’t have rusted. Most likely either blowing at a joint or could be a mild steel section or down pipe if the entire system is not stainless. Should be easy to find out.

Exactly ! This is not about anyone VS anyone else.. Just simple sense and logic. When we are driving we are aware of bikes, after all that is what we think about much of the time. It’s just that there are a huge number of non bike thinking, non anticipating, road users out there, and we all need to give them all the help they can get.

And…. The lights thing is as important on those low sun, sunny days (remember them !) as well .

Just trying to get people to consider raising their visibility when on the road that’s all ! Excuse me for voicing an opinion on a relevant cycling issue on a cycling forum !!!

I suggest that if you are concerned offering to take the animals and hutch back, refunding any money they gave you. The other option tell them to #### off….. Tioli.

Like all insurance. Worth it if you need to claim ! Personally it saved me a lot of money when our system went wrong a couple of years ago. And seem to need a motorised valve or something most years, that can justify the premiums on its own.
EDIT: in addition I have found their response times very quick usually next day.

Just put some Yokohama W Drive tyres on my Vito… Only done a couple of journeys so far… However, it has been cold and icy. very impressed ! The same run in the car on Conti sport contacts,had my DSC ..and obvious huge skill having to intervene constantly.

Just get the BFG’s…, you’ll be able to do that ‘glance over your shoulder’ thing at em, every time you walk away . 😀

Definitely shop about. Different suppliers have differing prices at different times. Personally I stick to the big name brands and shop for the best deal. If necessary getting them sent to me and fitted locally.

Mate of mine ordered a bike from Canyon on Friday ! It arrived today apparently . Looking forward to screwing it all together …..
