    Thanks guys to be honest i do still fancy a Hardtail more than a Full Sus, thinking like an On-one 456 Evo or Ragley Blue Pig or something of those type of hardtails

    I was thinking maybe slx but the offer on Merlin for the deore is really good cud I turn the deore into a 2×10 instead of a 3×10 and put a bash guard on it, I will have a look at the stems u have said

    I feel that 18″ maybe a little to big but the deal im getting is a good one so i may put up with it for a while and maybe up grade the frame if i struggle at all to the new Marley when it comes out

    What are the forks & wheels?

    Dt swiss exm 130mm, wheels mavic 717rims i think on hope front hub and xt rear hub

    One more question for you MMMbop experts its a 18″ frame im 5ft 9, was wondering if it would be ok, the guy whos selling it is same size as me and he finds it ok, but i was think more 16″-17″ frames

    I will be mainly riding at gisburn forest, grizedale, whinlatter and lee/cragg quarry, so I thought it would be a good bike for those places

    I see a few of you guys have slx double drive with bash I thinking of that route, do u recommend? Thinking 2×10, also not sure what brakes and what size rotars

    Thanks guys, that’s great Reevil just nice to know what other people’s specs are, the guy is asking 500quid for the frame, forks and wheels do u guys think that’s an ok price

    cheers guys plus the bike is from a friend at work so know where its been and i know its been looked after, may go for longer forks in future myself

    Yeh i love the Genesis core prob the most but the vitus does appeal so much with the price, not sure what i have to spend yet but would prob keep the wife happy the cheaper it is, but if its not a great bike i would rather spend more and get one of the others

    not sure quite like the vitus as its the cheapest but dont know anything about them plus i cant test ride one, so more likely to be the genesis or on-one unless i get enough money to buy the saracen

    Would love a 26.5 but not sure i can afford, depends on how much i get from my claim i just feel when you start to spend that sort of money would you not be better looking at a full sus

    Not keen on halfords heard bad things like need to take bike to LBS to have it put together properly but will keep those bikes in mind do quite like the boardmans have to say the spec on a voodoo wanga is amazing just frame sizes to big i think for myself

    Does anyone know what the frames are like on the genesis core, just wondering if the frames are good then ive got a good base to improve things, not sure what the specs are like Genesis website doesnt tell me if the stuff is Alvio, Deore, SLX, XT etc

    probably dont need 150mm but was just wondering if i got a genesis core and wanted longer travel forks in the future would they fit ok

    Will mainly be doing gisburn, lee quarry, whinlatter, grizedale but also just general riding like you say farm tracks but also stuff in the hills but mainly trail centres, i like the on-one have looked at the genesis core 26.2 or 26.3, really like the saracen zen x but really stretching my budget especially when i need other stuff, what do people think of saracen mantra x or expert or the kili cromo 1

    Yeh was thinking that sort of travel didnt think 100mm would be enough
