I got one of those spam texts and responded. They told me that I was owed money but the only credit card I had PPI on was nearly ten years ago. But they were adamant I had a case. So I contacted HSBC where a very helpful chap sorted everything for me and said there was no need for third party involvement and paying them 25% of the fees.
Four weeks later got payment for just under £3k.
I didn’t have any records of my previous credit card numbers , statement etc but under the law the bank/ finance company has to provide them. So itsup to you it only took me one phone call.

I tend to do most of my own maintenance but when I can’t be bothered just send it to the shop. That’s what happened a few year ago when I was building a new Yeti 575. Most of it was finished just wanted the gears setting up. Rang up LBS let them know what was needed and was quoted about £15-20 to do the work. Went back to pick the bike up and was told bill was £75. When I asked them why they told me that it was against the law to release a bike that was not roadworthy and they had done lots to bring it upto standard. . Honestly they had done nothing extra to warrant the extra charge. On top of that thy had stashed the bike out of sight so I couldn’t even get my hands on it. In the end I gave em £45 and got the bike back. Previously I had used the shop for service and buying bikes for my kids so now that doesn’t happen any more. Just use another shop down the road who are way better and deserving of my cash.

You can buy a cheap android box off eBay which will do all you want plus more. Added bonus is it’s got built in web browser which works really well with a wireless keyboard. Just make sure it’s got an up to date version of Android.

I have the version before yours and it was prett straight forward.
Loosen a couple of screws rear bumper slides off . Remove the rear crash beam that sits under the bumper by removing four bolts in the boot floor. This slides out and the tow bar assembly slides into it’s place, tighten up with supplied bolts and replace bumper. Electrics were done by my mate but were pretty straight forward.
