Fair enough Tom but I don’t see anyone blowing the trumpet for The British Or American forces. In fact ime sure some people are saying their too soft.

Get an older Transit. Very reliable cheap to run but stay away from rusty ones.

I had a similar dilemma not enough riding enough and a loft full of spares. Got shut of full susser and made use of an old Boardman frame that was lying around. Had it repainted and the only new bits on it are cables. Not a bad bike overall to be honest and very unfashionable to boot.

    Mindmap+1.
Totally agree you can get lots of car for not much money nowadays. Plus many new cars you drive just feel generic there’s not much between them. The onus is more on gimmicks than the actual car.

A couple of years ago I saw two really scruffy blokes on brand new Whites one a 146 and the other a T120. I stopped and had a chat with them and actually confronted them about where they had got the bike from. They assured me with great assurance that they had paid for them with cash. There’s only one Whyte dealer in our area so the next time I visited the shop I asked the chap behind the counter and guess what ? Two scruffy blokes walk in wanting to demo top notch bikes. He laughs at them and says give £5k deposit and you can. Two blokes put £5k on counter ride round the car park and say we’ll av em. So it may defy belief but yes they can be legit.

Just saw Ch4 News report about this

    http://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/jan/12/fox-news-expert-ridiculed-over-birmingham-is-totally-muslim-city-claims

A bit scary given that he advises senate committee’s and is an expert for many news channels. Got to ask though why would he do this he’s obviously not stupid so he can’t claim ignorance.

If your so obsessed with Muslims with high religious observance why don’t you find your nearest mosque and do a little field work. It will be open all day or at least five times a day . Just go down and observe nobody will stop you Tom and report back your findings.

So is that why his colleagues at the magazine stood up for him for his right to express himself ? He didn’t directly insult Judaism exactly did he.

eat the pudding most Muslims despise Majid Nawaz and look at him as damaged goods. Initially he was with the Hizbutahrir the white collar reps of al Muhahjiroon and after a period in foreign jails he’s back whiter than white.
The problem with muslim communities in the UK is that they are in effect leaderless. Local mosques have imams and committees who just want to bury their heads in the sand and hope it all goes away. Elected representatives one they’ve been elected become tyrants and reap benefits for themselves. Given all this the think tanks like Majid Nawazs are well out of touch with your average Muslim on the street.

Edukator looking at those verse numbers their quite easy to identify as their always the ones thrown about on the net. The Quran is not a book that came about in one go.It was revealed and compiled over a course of 23 years. Many of its verses are relevant to specific events that took place.

    So your first verse ;
And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.

This was revealed in relation to Muslims seeking sanctuary in Medina after 13 years of tyranny and oppression in Mecca. Some escaped and others were expelled leaving behind all they had. Muslims then reestablished themselves in Medina which became the first Muslim city. The Meccans however weren’t content and took their armies to destroy Medina. Up until this point the Muslims had no authorituy to fight hence this verse was revealed giving them permission to fight those who fought them and expel those who expelled them.

Taken out of context you can take that verse and make what you want of it . Get the real background and you’ll see it for what it is.

Ime sorry mudmuncher but ime with squirrelking. Just that I met a bloke from London up in the north and he was genuinley scared that all mosques were terror training centres not that he’d ever been in a mosque. Talking helps people it breaks down barriers does away with suspicion and its not hard to do.

There’s no such thing as unofficial deviant . Ime not saying that there isn’t Muslims who make these hogwash claims of course there is. The repatriation of soldiers bodies being abused and claims of flags flying over Downing St , we’ve all seen the behaviour of those on the fringes but To claim that 40% want sharia law ..nah.

Grum you listen to people and you look at media/social media it sounds like we’re living in a sharia state. Take it from me the bulk of Muslims don’t know what sharia is

As a Muslim born and bred in this country Ime really puzzled about this sharia law claim.please elaborate and give examples of sharia law active in the UK.

Very good points there edlong but I think a lot of people are too quick to jump on the nut job bandwagon. Who do we get our evidence from then and who do we trust ? Politicians ? Media ? Institutions like the Police or Cps ?
Sad to say but there’s very few individuals of calibre and integrity amongst them and those in power abuse what they’ve got.

Maybe OFSTED the government or the media need to actually define what they mean by radicalisation. Do they mean people actually will actually commit terrorist acts or do they mean that they are becoming more involved in Islam ie attending the mosque more frequently. There has to be a distinction but at the moment the lines are a bit blurred.

Check if their insured on the imdb register. He won’t be insuring each car individually so there has to be some sort of trade or fleet policy. If he’s got his own policy then insurers normally require that you have premises but you are allowed to use your driveway but it’s all very specific. Unless he’s using his employers insurance which is a different ball game.

This happened to a friend of mine and got sorted pretty quick. If the guy who hit you isn’t disputing it his insurers don’t want to pay thousands to solicitors so if your injuries are similar to whiplash they will negotiate with you direct. My mate had his Stumpjumper replaced via wheelie and had a cheque for injuries within three weeks. As poster above has said see your definitely see your doctor just to be on Hythe safe side.

So lets just say there is no religion and there never was any from day dot. In that ideal world would all the shortcomings of mankind not exist. Far from it men would still kill take that which is not theirs and oppress their fellow men. We just have to accept that many people out there are good decent humans but many aren’t and those are the ones you’re gonna hear about cos Mr and Mrs Regular just ain’t interesting enough.

I lived in Reading for quite a while but back up north now. Started off in Early had a couple of years off the Oxford Rd , and a few years in Whitney plus a few years on the Wokingham Rd near the Showcase. I don’t think Whitleys that bad parts of the north make it look like child’s play.

Ask the people in these countries Iraq , Syria , Lybia etc if things are better now or were they better before. It might have been bad but nothing can compare to this. Ime pretty sure if they could turn back the clock they would.
