As mentioned above Islabikes size their bike to leapfrog a size, (that’s what they told me when I spoke to them)

my daughter went, CNOC 16 -> BEINN 20 Large -> BEINN 26 Small which she is riding now (she’s 8 years old now)

I invented Jamie and Jamie invented the internet. All your internets belong to me so I win.

    surely that should be;

“All your internet are belong to me”

Sounds like my creaking SDG Bel Air 2.0 is not that unusual then, although it does bother me as the rest of the bike is pretty much silent!

if there is only a small weight advantage of smaller rotors why bother with them?

Drac, Bio-Oil is the one I was thinking of, does it actually work?

Well I’ve just got back after a week riding in Andorra and the whole week was with Single Track Safari[/url] the riding was amazing the best I’ve ever done.

Lots of climbing so if you don’t want that look at their gravity weeks but for me it was true All-Mountain riding over natural terrain that pushed my skills to their limits.

Martin the guide (and owner) was one of the nicest blokes you could ever wish to meet.

Am I missing something, why aren’t the police all over this?

Has anyone on here reported it, or is that just a waste of time?

Very nice, I can see what thisisnotaspoon means about the rims but I don’t think that’s a bad thing.

I love the understated look, it’s only if you know your kit that you realise what a top build it is.

    Great work!

Apparently OP told me that he contacted hotlines and they wont sell direct to public, you have to go to one of their resellers

Oh and once you have fitted it bleeding it is fun as the bleed screw is on the bottom of the post (not the top like my other standard reverb)!

Northwind – true, I ended up taking the grommet out of the frame, making a hole the right size for the hose then carefully stretching the grommet over the connectormajig and putting the whole thing back in the frame after slapping some silicone grease on it to ease installation.

The newer stealth posts have a funky connectormajig so you can take the hose off the post at the bottom and feed it in from the bottom up.

I’ve ridden in Morzine the last two years but I’m off to Andorra in a couple of weeks so I’ll let you know how they compare after :)

JCL – As they say each to their own, but as an observation I thought the idea of the VPP was to counteract the natural rising rate of an air shock so the switch from rising to falling on the VPP ends up giving a linear rate of travel?

I may be wrong but I was told they are made by machine in the hope factory (in the UK I assume)

I can’t remember how long mine took to arrive but I did find an email from them was in my spam folder and I couldn’t see why.

Maybe some ISPs block their emails as spam and that’s why people are getting them?

seosamh77, thanks for response, I am particularly interested in the noise cancelling function and find the over ears block out more ambient noise to start with.

I have some Grados for home use so am just after something for planes trains etc and out and about so source will be a portable player.

Can you give me a link to the £20 Sony over ear noise cancelling headphones which sound as good or better the the two I’ve mentioned please.

    Thanks for comments.

I haven’t actually added any stickers, all I’ve done is replaced the stock stickers with matching (OK Euro nearly matching) ones

I did get a very quick response (unlike Fisher who couldn’t even be bothered to respond to my mail)

From what I can remember I think they said beginning of August for general availability.

It always been possible to fit a SKS shockboard to a Lefty EddieB & is a much better mudguard.. those SP fenders look daft (main reason why hard-as-nail mtb won’t fit any mudguard) and are easily equalled by a Mucky Nutz Bender fender on normal forks & surpassed by adding a Crud Catcher front mudguard to your downtube.

Sorry I don’t normally pick people up on things but that’s complete b0llocks about the SP fender, I’ve used mucky nutz and neo-thingys and the SP FF is far superior to both of them, use it with a down tube mounted crud catcher and you come off pretty much every ride with not a spot on your front.

    But I do agree they look daft, like you’re a wanna-be motor-cross’er
