Well a really noticeable faster engagement over what I did feel was an overly long 20 degree sweep before.
Quite happy with what I feel is a worthwhile upgrade. Great for 'batting' through wet thick mud when it's a requirement to have a leg dangling to prevent falling and kinda peddle a quarter turn with the other.
Nice deeper sound too.

The Tech M4's I've got are nice. The Juicy 7's I had were shite.

Sounds to me like you need some Shimano MT91 boots. Only had mine a few weeks but can't fault them. Plus when I rode through flood water which was up to the top of the wheels, they dried out within a day!

With Shimano I've found it best to increase two sizes as they do come small plus warm socks work best when not cramped up.

deffo RAL 5018, i have some and it's a perfect match.

I use 175mm on the bouncer & did have 170mm on the road bike which I didn't like. It really felt cramped, like I wasn't able to stretch my legs although the seat height relative to the pedal at bottom dead centre was the same.
It may only be a difference of 5mm but as the pedal revolves the crank arm lenght of 170mm makes a circumference of 534.07mm as opposed to a 175mm lenght which has a 549.77mm perimeter. So as you can see the 175mm crank arm has a longer arc to travel, creating the feeling of being roomier.

'79 Honda Goldwing blew a headgasket out in the sticks just approaching a country pub. First call to the AA asking for recovery was answered by 'be about an hour mate'
when he arrived, there was no trailer as he hadn't be told!
'be about 2 hours to go and fetch one'
'oh dear' I said as he drives off.
When he did return I could hardly stand as the pub sold Ruddles County on draught. Lol
took me home after he struggled to load the bike on his own !
