Mine varies between 5 to 10 miles each way – any further than that I’ll get a train in the morning, but happily ride around 20/25 miles home. I never rush (don’t want to get too sweaty!), but have definitely got faster these days.
Oh, and I don’t sit in an office – I’m outside on my feet all day.

Strangely i always talk to peeps on bikes,only ever met 2 nutters, one tried to nick my bike when i helped to fix his puncture, and the other, best not to go there.

I’m far too trusting, talking to strangers has almost got me into trouble on more than one occasion, but the alarm bells usually sound just in time for me to make a hasty exit!

Another vote for Edinburgh here – the bus drivers seem unable to actually see cyclists – I’ve been forced onto the pavement every time I ride there – and, yes, I do know what I’m doing, I’m a cycle instructor.

Mine’s taken me just about all over the UK – not Ireland yet though, maybe next summer will be a few weeks touring over there. It just doesn’t feel right to go anywhere without a bike these days.

My “learn to Ride” afternoon session became a “learn how to remove an inner tube” session – in the dry.

Riding to work the other day, had a car pull out of a driveway right in front of me – the driver obviously hadn’t realised there was also a police van behind me. He got stopped a little further up the road by the nice policeman 😀

I may have to watch the sheep dog thing – just to drool over Guy Martin 😀

Have some of you ever thought of living closer to where you work? Doesn’t half make life easier.
And most months, £0 for me – bike and train (if necessary) make mentally relaxing journeys.

I’m trying to look after my new car (T reg 🙂 )but my old car (M reg ) had a number of dents and minor scratches, none of which were caused by me. Was I bovvered? Nah, it still worked – could get bikes in it and drive somewhere, added character I reckon.
(wonders who’s precious enough to be out cleaning their cars on a Sunday morning?)

I’m not sure pics are a good idea – I used to think there were a bunch of hunky, handsome mtbers on here… 🙁 😉
