I thought dating sites were a waste of time – until I found Mr Right, or rather he found me. 😀
eHarmony was spectacularly bad – how could they tell me my ideal match was someone who liked going to the pub and watching tv, when my profile clearly said I like to be outdoors, preferably cycling?

Recipe?? Nah, just bung in what you’ve got – you can’t really go wrong.

    Errm, why?

Zero in 37 years – I think it’s because I’ve only ever driven cars that have a special dial that tell you what speed you’re doing 😉

Try the cold tap – it’s much more reliable for delivering cold water.

Another vote for the Kenwood Chef – I’m still using my mum’s old one, about 45 years old in fact!

Wouldn’t having a childs face on your leg make buying tights somewhat problematic?

Tights?? Oh, of course, cycling tights. But I don’t, so it won’t. 🙂

Doesn’t matter where they were made, it’s where you eat them that counts.

No Matador Pie at Pi today 🙁
The website menu doesn’t seem to match what they actually have at the moment.

Lady Gresley – is that in the Peoples Republic of Chorlton? I love the Matador pies there.

It is indeed – not seen the Matador pie there though.

    Oooh, they’ve changed the menu

We’re just off out for a Moo Pie and a Wild Mushroom and Asparagus Pie at the delightfully named Pi. We may just have to sample some of their fine ales too. 😀

Edit: I may try Heidi Pie instead – not sure yet.

Mid-height goretex walking boots works for me – currently Salomon Elios 🙂 but then I do spend a lot of time walking, rather than riding 😳

Saw this for the first time last night – not impressed, I have to say.
Testing three folding bikes – and they didn’t even fold them?? I was really looking forward to seeing them fail with the Mezzo 😆 And what was the point of testing them out of the saddle? You just don’t ride that sort of bike like that.

Another thing – my (29 year old) daughter was amazed that we haven’t always had postcodes
really, i didn’t know that either.

Now I feel absolutely ancient 🙁

Age is just a number – I don’t worry about it. Apart from when I get out of bed and can barely walk, you wait til all your bits hurt, not just odd bits!

I won’t use Virgin trains on principle – even if I don’t have my bike. A small protest I know, but it makes me happy.

I plot routes on Memory Map and export them directly to my 800, no need to send it to TC first?
I use mine for on and off road routes – it’s great! I never got to grips with BaseCamp or Connect, but don’t actually need them. If you don’t have Memory Map, you can use things like Bikehike to plot and download routes.

Chav I understand, but what’s this “gangbangers”? I understood a “gangbang” to be something that, err, men may like but a woman may not? Not a term you’d apply to the sartorially/intellectually challenged?

Apparently I still have 800 calories left to eat today, where did I put the number for the chippy?

And that was exactly why I stopped using it! I put on weight rather than losing it 🙁

Care Plus Repel-it, Smidge and Autan all use the same active ingredient, so will work equally well.

Avon Skin So Soft does not work – I got eaten alive a couple of weeks ago at Gisburn, so last week found and used my old bottle of Autan, and lo and behold no bites at all.
I reckon the people who say Avon works are the ones who don’t actually react to bites anyway.

I think my daughter survived for years on chicken fingers and little else – it’s done her no harm at all. I didn’t see the point of upsetting both her and me by trying to force her to eat things she didn’t like.

I went to a bar last night where you had to back your self into the space between the side of the cubicle and the toilet bowl to even enter/exit the stall

You’ve just described 99% of all women’s toilets – they don’t half make me curse as I try to sidle round the side of the toilet just to shut the door!! Obviously all designed by men… 👿

Avon SSS definitely doesn’t work – after being bitten by a million midges whilst trail building at Gisburn last Monday, I feel I am fully qualified to make that statement. I will remember my Autan for next Sunday.

I’m 4 years older than my man, although I had led him to believe that I was younger than him when we first met – I had to confess to that teensy weensy little fib 😳

They make such a hoo-haw about cycling round here and all we have are highway and sustrans gravel-like flat paths

Good job they only make a hoo-haw about cycling then, and not about mountain biking 😉

Many prams require both hands in order to fold it. You cannot hold a baby at the same time.

Indeed, but if you know you’ll need to fold it, you buy one you can fold easily – simples.
