Sorry, I’ve no idea, after being single for eighteen years, I now have a man who doesn’t use any! Remembering from past experience, it has to cost over £40 to be reasonable!

Another vote for that awful Welsh woman on the One Show – she’s the main reason I cannot bring myself to watch it. Oh and can I add a weather presenter? For those in the North West, that Eno woman, I can’t stand her accent and why does she dress as though she’s off out to a night club? Just wear some normal clothes for god’s sake!

A nice few days at my Mum’s with daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law on Christmas day and son on Boxing day – but at 93 my Mum’s not really up to cooking the dinner any more, I hate cooking in someone else’s kitchen especially when it’s full of crap and there’s no room! We even managed to avoid any tears despite having lost my Dad only 10 weeks ago.

Find some nice green stickers for that blue helmet and you’re on a winner 😀

I’m a amazed you’ve lasted so long together – sounds like the armed forces don’t agree with marriage! Did they really expect you live apart for all that time?? I’d have found a different career much, much sooner.

We got stopped a week ago, at 8.45am Sunday. My other half had had the last of 5 pints at around midnight, and the breathalyzer reading was zero. Phew!!

Not manflu (obviously, I’m a lady) but coughing my lungs up for a week now. But on a positive note, I’ve got my voice back 😀

I think the only thing that was vaguely a “techno-gadget” when I was young was my Spirograph.

I’m on, I think, my third – I’ve not noticed any issues with the reflective bits, but I do find the pocket zips can split at the ends, as they haven’t made the openings big enough to get my hands in. Maybe the men’s pockets are bigger? Also the waterproofness doesn’t seem to last, despite washing (with Techwash) and re-proofing, but it’s as good as any other jacket.

I did buy a new kayak yesterday, but, although the Prom was closed, I haven’t needed to use it.

Never had a bonus in my life. And this year I will have the best part of around 6 weeks off – unpaid. The joys of casual work.

I can only recommend the Kenwood Chef – I’ve been using my Mum’s old one for the last 15 years or so – it’s at least 46 years old, so should last a while longer 🙂
