This is the place if you want to get proper tea. 10m brewing in a diffuser pot and you will never go back to teabags!!

Bilberry here – diluted or neat for really heavy stuff.

Also worth putting a layer of wax afterwards on your wheels will help cleaning them next time round

You should find out what type of tubeless tyres they are and whether they have any stans fluid in them as these will help plug up punctures you may have.

With regards to the forks what forks are they – they usually will have a guide as to what pressures should be run and may/may not come with a pump. You will need a pump to adjust pressures though

I see your point – my sons in the same house so if I wanted to play together which is rarely I would walk up a couple of flights of stairs

I suspect that it is a fake SJ4000. If you look on Ebay there are genuine ones which tell you how to tell the difference. Probably use the same components anyway so not sure whether it makes any difference or not

I want to be able to fit a trex at some point hence a medium cage rear mech. .shifter wise i like my current xtr which is miles ahead of xt in my experience. Hence its either xtr or saint shifter

Happy to be persuaded otherwise…never ridden any 10spd so feel etc may have moved on

Those SJ4000 ones look great value. Wanted to get something like this to dip my toes with rather than lump out big bucks to sit on the shelf.

How do you know which ones are genuine SJ4000?

    any recommended ebay sellers?

From.memory all of the calipers are post mount and the same size…depending on what disc size you want to run determines what caliper mount you buy.

Decide what size disc then look up which mount you need

    Hope that helps

If someone can’t see the difference between the threads without “trial and error” then they really, really need to step away from the spanners.

Very good – was trying to see whether there was a simple way to tell the difference. Previous pedals have had R/L on them..

I can see now that there is a difference as pointed out above – Without resorting to looking a the way the thread is pitched. I can build a bike like the best of em!!!

Do not do trial and error as this leads to stripped threads, mashed bolts,,,smashed bearings etc etc But thanks for teaching me how to look a a thread pitch

I wouldn’t ordinarily..but thisa is a fair amount and you can feel it through the rear of the bike

Also why put up with imperfections when you shouldn’t have to

Hey if you want it you can have it for £30

Gonna see if i can get the receipt for it as the wobble is around 5mm which just looks plain odd when riding and nearly touches the chainstay

Thanks for all the replies. ..i reseated it..inflated to 40psi as that ia maz it says on the stans rim..it looks pretty much the same..it is seated properly

When you look centrally and rotate the wheel you can see the central line isnt straight

Tyre is deffo seated thats for sur

Will ride it tomorrow and see if it settles

    It just looks odd..

This guy had an ASDA special, threaded headset and v brakes – how can you not notice that this is nonsense. the v brakes had little room out back of the headtube.

I was in car at time otherwise I would have pointed out the error
