Nice, silver rims are a novelty these days eh?

I agree, you don’t see many bikes with silver rims these days. I got them because they were cheap.

I rushed my first bike (nostalgia) and ended up with a hound. Since then I have figured out what I like in a frame and can look at the geometry and have a pretty good idea if I will like it.

Yes, i’ve got the offset bushings in it. Drops the bb a little and slacken the HA a touch.

Rides really well with the 36’s. It now has a custom tuned shock as I couldn’t get it how I wanted it.

I hope to keep this for a while, as it is perfect geometry and travel wise for the kind of riding I do :D

I bought a new pc recently. Novatech are no longer such a good deal. I would recommend aria.co.uk or palicomp.co.uk

on their own, almost impossible. Together, possibility. As others have said calling 999 is your best option.

Recovery position so they cannot choke on their vomit.

Just go easy on the Tramadol, some dark moments

I had a similar experience on codeine. Internet pharmacies are a bad idea…..

I’m still bearish on house prices and think that Northstar has a valid point to make, fundamentals look pretty dire. Saying that fundamentals have looked dire for a number of years and the market still has not corrected near to historical levels.

I pay more attention to trends and market psychology for the most part. The trend is down and the psychology one of fear rather than greed IMO.

Not a good time to buy a house right now, if you ask me.

I snapped mine quite badly about 5 months ago. I can’t help you regarding the joining up bit, but what I do recommend is not taking no for an answer.

I got messed about a bit and being the stubborn sod that I am wanted to know everything. Explaining that I weight trained, cycled and was very active and needed full range of motion back, they didn’t fob me off in the end.

10 weeks is plenty for the bone to start joining together so I’d get on the case, do as much reading as you can and go back with a bit more knowledge.

As far as I am aware, if the bone does not join then it can cause problems down the road.

Last week I attempted to get the handlebars up to seat height by using a steerer extension

You might want to start here…….

At correct leg extension, I doubt very much that you’ll get the bars near the seat if you have long legs. If you do, you will mess up the handling of the bike.

Get a dropper post. I got one recently and it is brilliant as I have a 35″ inside leg and my saddle is stupidly high for climbs.

Got the mud x’s out and had a quick blast round the local trails. I’ve missed the front wheel drifts on muddy downhills :D

Many a time when I was younger. It normally involved blurting out things I was thinking, but should not have said in public

Waking up in the morning and hiding under the duvet, is not a nice feeling.

Thankfully, I no longer ingest bolivian marching powder and I am much better behaved as a result.

I’ve been thinking about getting one as I love my 24″ jump bike and it is the next progression.

How long do you reckon it takes to adjust? (I’m 6’3 and didn’t ride much bmx as a kid)

but by nowhere near as much as any mtb does in comparison to a BMX.

Disagree, the all get proportionately more shit as the wheel size gets bigger.

If you had any idea what you were talking about, you’d buy a Steve Potts frame over a Ferrari!

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilderness_Trail_Bikes

As much as I admire the beauty and craftsmanship that have gone into this frame, I can’t help thinking I’d ask him if he could leave the logo off the downtube lol.

To the OP, it is an absolute beauty of a frame, nicest I have seen for a long time.

I wonder how many feet/miles/steps the average person travels in a day without the aid of lifts and cars etc. Not a lot, I’d imagine.

I think it is, especially with steep frames. Slackening a 69 frame to 68 is noticeable.

Beautiful frame, but I can’t help thinking the guy should have called the company something different. If your name is Enzo Ferrari by all means go ahead, but Steve Potts? LMAO.

I made some close mates at uni in my late teens. but when they were still ingesting a vast amount of class A’s and womanising 5 years later I knew it was time to move on.

Some of my oldest friends still cane it a bit too much. They have grown up a bit and do other stuff apart from class A’s and drinking.

In my youth I was friends with some right tools. Thankfully I got rid of them.

With a good graphics card the pc version is immense. Had a go at the multiplayer at my mates house and it frustrated the hell out of me.

I need a fancy graphics card in my life!

Mud X is great, but I find even the 2″ a bit narrow. It’s superb if you ride mainly soft open trails, but I find on rocky and rooty trails prevalent in most places I ride, they’re just a bit narrow and I have to run them too firm.

I wish they did a 2.2″ version (proper 2.2″ not comedy big 2.2″ like the XR4!) which would be ideal for me. Ok it wouldn’t be quite so good in the out and out mud, but it’d be grippier where it counts to me, and would probably still be a bit less draggy than a swamp thing!

+1 Bonty should make a bigger mud x. 2.0 is fine on the rear, but a tad too small on the front. I also wish maxxis did a dual compound swamp thing and high roller. I might try a 60a swampy this winter and see how it compares.

    Cleaning my bike.
    Not having an uplift nearby.
Breaking myself and having months of from riding.
Not being able to pull big whips!(this will be remedied by next year :-) )
