It's a nightmare. The banks are taking a real hard line approach these days. I've been there myself.

most Iranians are fed up with the regime

Out of all the people I've met and worked alongside from the middle east, the Iranians tend to be the nicest most reasonable, intelligent folk.
I agree that most of them would like a free democratic goverment. That's why there so much protests from the students against the current regime

It is a scam and I get them daily- even from banks and building societies I've never been with. You can report it as spam on your email but it will most likely fall on deaf ears- it's so common now.

ve put a 120mm reba team maxle fork on my Santa Cruz superlight and it's the last of the old model bought in 2007. It was only recommended to run a 100mm but the handling is improved and I'm not doing anything major like 7ft drop offs so I can't see there being a problem- it even helps raise the slightly low BB.
Before I did this, I checked on forums such as mtbr where loads of guys in the states had done it and didn't report any problems- might be worth trying this first just incase, but the spider is a similar bike to the superlight and I guess it would be OK

    I'm moving to Oz.
I was there in 2001 in the Gold Coast watching the world surfing championship and it was a similar clientele. Never came near me mind you. They were more interested in Kelly Slater & co

Thats perfectly fine IMO. If I may say so sir alittle willy waving going on

    🙂

I think in a bike forum you'll find that resting heart rate is quite high. Do some more training, fatso.

Yup I'm sure that's nothing special compared to most here- I was more concerned about the BP because the webpage I read says if the low (diastolic) drop to 60 or below you should see a doctor and that you could be prone to dizziness and fainting. This is the first time I've ever been aware (or cared to find out) my blood pressure so I just wanted to see how it compared to others here.
Well, if yors is lower TJ then I'll wait until you keel over then I'll start worrying 😆

    frog and watercress

That's unusual. I've never seen frogs for sale in supermarkets here. Do you have to get them from a special supplier?

Remove it and check for play ir if the bearings are worn. If a regrease doesn't sort it you'll need a new one. Also check your RH pedal as it could also be the spindle/bearings there

    I'm never without a watch – just doesn't feels right…

Same here. I don't like removing whichever one I have on even to have a shower.

KT1973. I have a g-shock in v.g.c I never wear (strap irritates me after a few hours) which you can have for £10 posted. Can't remember the model but it's solar powered and sets itself to the atomic clock (or something similar) if you happen to be in America !

I had a fair bit to eat last night (after a 1.5 hr ride from 18:00-19:30) including a big cake in bed 😛
Got up this morning had 3 cups of tea and a banana and went out again at 10:00 am and I seemed to be flying, espescially about 30 mins in. I had bags of energy and recovery time was short.
I think I'll go and get half pissed now so that I'm back to square 1 tomorrow 😯

A bit chipped off the filling on my front tooth last night whilst on MTB and chewing gum. I started to crunch something and assumed some grit had flown in from the front wheel, but upon gobbing out said gum, I noticed part of the tooth(filling) was away.
Phoned this morning and got it fixed this pm 8)
