Never had any issue with 2.3 high roller 2s.

All the vpp bolts done up correctly? They can work loose. (Not meaning to seem like I’m teaching you to suck eggs).

I have said cheap router from screwfix, has been more than ample for what I’ve wanted to do so far.

Routered some side panels and a floor for my van, made some shelves to go in my daughters wardrobe. Only limit is what bits you buy to go in it.

Well done Minipips you must be very proud of him.

Had the pleasure of meeting/riding with him at the Mtbmeetup last February, cracking young lad and puts alot of riders to shame.

He was riding the mbr trail at coed-y-brenin on a cross bike!

Lots of labs yes… Not necessarily fat very much breeding line/owner based.

A proper working line lab is surprisingly slender compared to what people expect to see.

    It’s all about Minipips!

Cracking young lad and can only admire his commitment and determination, no doubt partly rubbed off from Rich.

Twentyfour12 at the end of July.

Did it as a team of 5 in 2014 really enjoyed the course and also the laid back nature of the event. Entered this years already :)

T5s do have their faults which are well documented online.. Dual mass flywheels have been known to go wrong, egrs, n75(also known as moo valves), driveshaft issues..

All said and done they’re no worse than any other vehicle on the road. I’m on my second T5 now, had a ’04 1.9 and liked it so much that after 18months I went out and bought one brand new so now have a ’14 140ps lwb highline.

Have a drive of one and see what you think, if you want to drive it like a car don’t expect great economy but if you’re happy to pootle along with the traffic they’re pretty good on fuel, mine averages high 30s to low 40s mpg which for a two tonne brick is pretty respectable.

I have an 810 with the Ordnance survey maps installed, you can scroll around and zoom in/out.

Cracking bit of kit wouldn’t be without one now I’ve got it.

I have one of these.. It’s slightly lacking in range but for laying down plenty of fire power it awesome while others reload.. Comes with 3 18dart magazines!

Thanks to all at STW for the mag and forums both full of information with varying amounts of use.

Hope everyone has a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.

Never ridden there but looks like he enjoyed it which is the main thing is it not?

I’m sure we’ve all bottled various bits of trail or made poor line choices over our riding history, if not you must be some sort of mtb legend.. Or possibly fall off an awful lot.

Thanks to OP for posting and thanks to the maker of the video. :)

Got a few of plans and lots of i wants.

Got a week in Scotland to ride the 7stanes,

    Riding twentyfour12 in July,

    Want to finally visit BPW,
    Ride snowdon,
    Do an overnight ride somewhere,

Plus many many other things that no doubt work and family life will intervene with.

I fitted a matte invisiframe to my bronson when I got it. Worth its wait in gold and hardly noticeable. Given the amount you’re going to be spending on the bike it’s a small percentage really.

If you stick to the instructions provided it is very easy to do as long as you’re not a complete ham fisted oaf!

The stealth still uses the two syringe method and the bleed point is at the Base of the seatpost so does need removing to bleed.

With mine I bled it once when first fitted and haven’t needed to since (over a year ago now).

There’s some very easy on the eye ladies within mtb.. Sure there’s plenty of men too.

Hannah Barnes seems like a lovely girl in all ways.

Rachel Atherton should rank up there somewhere to…

I received a six figure sum earlier this year.. It cleared my mortgage, bought me and the wife newer cars and went on a nice holiday with the kids.

Still got a bit left over which I’ve put into a fixed term bond for the time being.

Made my life considerably more comfortable having no mortgage to pay so my wages now go considerably further.

I’ve got a set of renthal carbon fatbar lites. Do as you’d expect with a little more give and considerable weight saving over the aluminium version. Gladly recommend them if the up/back sweep numbers work for you.

What time do the dyfi/summit cycles events normally start?

Considering antifreeze at coed y Brenin but depends on the start time as I have prior commitments on the Saturday so was hoping to drive up on the day of the event.

I ran the same HR2/ardent combination, I’ve just bought another HR2 for the back so I’ll see how I get on. Should be fine I think.

In STW tradition I’ll recommend what I have,

    Santa Cruz bronson

What about the Orbea Rallon? Doug from basque mtb rates it very highly.

I love the idea of doing a few enduros, but I’m more worried about holding other racers up than I am about entering. All got to start somewhere I know but that’s whats stopped me thus far.

I’ve been reading this months (issue 93) and I too currently find the articles relevant, inspiring and a good read.

I’m planning to ride the Dorset downs route in the next few weeks, the sarn Helen route is intriguing and a possibility for a weekends riding and Moab/transpyr is at the moments just pipe dreams.

    Keep up the good work!

I’m 30 and mortgage free… 4 kids to feed/support though so that’s any chance of me retiring in the next 20years scuppered… Maybe after that though (possibly maybe).

I work in a completely different industry (engineering) but with us unsociable non night shift hours are before 7am and anything after 6pm.

So I work 6-2 one week then 2-10 the next and get an uplift for doing so. As said above I don’t think this is a hard and fast rule set it’s company driven from what I understand.

I think Tom Howard’s stealthy nomad is right up there as one of the best looking 160mm travel bikes.

I think all manufacturers have seriously upped there game in terms of design aesthetics in recent years.

I have no experience in a situation like this but it sounds like you are handling it in the right way.

    Best of luck WML.
