Can’t see that there would be. As long as you’re maintaining a balanced diet.

As you said the one time you forgot the carbs you felt weak. I think providing you avoid pushing yourself like that regularly (as in making yourself feel faint etc) then I can’t see a problem.

Just had a quick read of this my fitness pal story that made the press… 10stone loss in 12months! Don’t think we’ve got anything to worry about!

    @Stevemtb Just keep going,

I’m at 22.2lb loss this year. I have an awful lot I need to loose and have completely changed my diet and out on the bike as often as possible. I’ve not signed up to the spreadsheet as its not often I use a computer and i didn’t seem to want to work on the iPhone/pad.

I’m using my fitness pal and trying to avoid any snacks, any snacks I do have I try to keep to a healthy option.

I’m expecting the huge losses to tail off and hopefully then just maintain a loss each week.

Can’t imagine what you’re going through. Every parents worst nightmare.

Keep us all posted. A little release even to total strangers may be of some help.

Mine and Mrs Kristoffs thoughts are with you.

I’ve gone from large estate cars (vw passats) to a discovery and now to a T5 transporter.

Wouldn’t be without the van now! And can’t see myself not wanting one in the future.

With a bit of sound deadening and insulating its now as quiet on the road as my wife’s A3.

Halfords had it for £2.49 with any other purchase. Not sure if that offer is still on though.

I’m currently using endura tech pants for my commute. Have been perfect given the recent weather!

Although I can’t wait for the warmer weather so I can get back into shorts.

I’m a fat biker, currently trying to head towards being a not so fat biker.

I rebuilt my old orange MsIsle last year and have just swapped everything on to an on-one c456, having loads of fun out on it. Forget anyone who comments they’re not worth it, at least you know in your mind that you’re doing the right thing being out in the fresh air and getting a bit of exercise!

I’m a larger rider and find my charge spoon pretty good in the comfort stakes.

As a bonus the cro-mo railed one is only about £20 too!

Can’t go far wrong with a passat estate IME. Had two of them previously and only sold as I needed something with at least 6 seats.

I saw this exact trainer in my local trainer linked to a hybrid and it just seemed to be making a humming noise at worst. Although I imagine this would depend on what tyre you had on it and also what flooring it was on.

    I’m tempted by one though.

If you’re after a site you can regularly update then a blog may well be the way to go. As said WordPress sites can look very professional with a bit of time and thought into the design and layout.

If you’re just after something to show case your things/work/hobby then a standard site may be a better way to go.

From what I’ve read you need the mech too.

The amount of leverage is different between 9 and 10 speed mechs.

I think whatever you do is going to cause some damage to the headset. Is there much gap between the top of the headset and the flange?

I think the OP does have a point.

I’m yet to go tubeless but I can see there will be a change. The tyre may deform less as how often do you think an inner tube will match the exact shape of your tyre and chosen rim? There will be some voids where only atmospheric air pressure will exsist and thus when you sit on your bike you’re effectively pushing the inner tube info the rim. Where as in a tubeless setup the pressure should be the same everywhere inside the tyre.

So partly to do with volume of air and also partly to do with the fact the entire tyre/rim is filled with no low pressure zones.

    That’s my take on it.
