Pease the shock is in excellent working order, I have fully maintained since ownership. It has not been used since sept last year, I stripped cleaned and put new seals in it after I took it off the bike. It also has brand new bushes installed.

200 x 57mm, I have a RP2 HV you can have for 80 posted if you like? It was on my enduro until I went coil.

Mike, your trance will take 140’s no problem. Give mojo a ring as you may be able to swap out the air cart for 140mm travel and the top cap to rlc. I have done the rlc conversion on my 08 32’s and I’m glad I did, cost 45 for the top cap assembly.

I too have had a serniclavicular dislocation, moving a fridge freezer of all things. Lots of physio and a lump later all is well, it did take around 6 months though. No op so it must have popped back in, as Suggsy says it looks like an op is needed.

Sky arts recently done a doc on Deke Leonard, really talented guy and highly regarded by most of the top guitarists around today. I had a chance to buy a mikey jones guitar being sold by his son for the local charity, I missed out by 1 bid and not paying attention….. Gutted.

Seen MAN more times than I can remember, I have all of their albums on vinyl. Funny really as I now have no record player!

This thread has to be brought down a peg or 2, far too much talk of Lycra and pink.

Smelling ones own farts and eating ones bogies, pretty normal I’d say.

Ooh and chewing toenails, nearly forgot that one. It really drives the wife mad.

    Over and out!

I had a HV RP2 on my 09 Enduro SL, it was fine. Used it as nature intended and never found the need to tinker (for a change!) 😀

Yes it bottomed out occasionally (especially in Morzine!) but isn’t that was suspension is for?

Qwerty, i got mine from fawcets liners. They specialise in indutrial grade liners that are far better than the standard off the shelf stuff. Pretty reasonable too!

Coverted 130mm Float 32 XTT to RLC on mine, I think 140mm would be too slack for what the bikes meant to do.

I’m also quite supprised how stiff the forks are, I don’t think there’d be much benefit in going 15/20 especially for the extra cost.

My Enduro has 170mm Lyrik RC2 Coils on and riding the same trails (Afan, Brechfa & Cwmcarn xc) the difference in feel is marginal. I dare say that on a DH track the Stumpy would suffer though!

    Rich1oo,

    That is a Sh1tter!

Carmarthen would be a hotspot if you had been through there. Newcastle Emlyn also has some toerags mind so it may be worth a trip into there.

Theres a caravan park nearby too (Afon Teifi I think), theives are opportunists so check there.

I doubt if you would have been followed far (Such as Afan) as it’s quite in the sticks. Had you been to Brechfa?

Mastiles, does it look as if the red power light flickering really fast and is slightly dim? If so the capacitors in the power supply have gone. It’s a common problem which is easily fixed if your a dab hand with a soldering iron, the capacitor kits are available on ebay for around £12. I had to do mine.

Don’t know if it will help but try secondary pain treatment, I just went to trim my little toe nail and ripped the whole bloody thing off!!!!! The wife’s just been sick at the sight of it and there’s blood everywhere, that’ll take your mind off anything 😀

I have a plaster on it now and have taken some pain killers too. Red wine also helps.

I went from a Heckler to this, it pedals uphill miles better and is slightly lighter. Downhill it is different but much more confidence inspiring, the Heckler is easier to get air.

Mindmap3 the DHX Air 5 does not have a nitrogen filled damping unit, the rebound and compression circuits are both linked and pressurised through the valve on the piggy back.

Only the R/RP units have Nitro.

Ive been using my Thule 2 bike tow bar rack for 4 years now on 2 cars, never had any trouble with salt, fitting speed etc. I also got better fuel economy going from a roof mounted rack. I even prefer the rack to putting the bike in the car (Estate).

The drop off in price from 60k to 120k is quite significant, regardless of service history. You’ll be looking at 40 – 50% of the 60k price, less if its part ex.

I px’d my mint 2007 / 56 plate A6 Saloon 2.0 tdi SE fully loaded with 90k full Audi service history for £6700 last september. It was 34k new.

What I cannot believe is that he is completely disqualified from qualifying, surely his time from a run previous to the pole one should stand? It makes sense as he got through to Q3 legit.

87 it was a Falken something, it was blue and very crap. But it gave me the bug so it was followed by a couple of Claud Buttlers, Marins and Specialized. 1st full bouncer though was a Giant ATX990, i loved that bike.

MussEd thats a 10mm axle you’ll so need 10mm adapters. DT Swiss do a 9mm version that will fit.

I’m going against the grain here from personal experience. My 3 year old £300 DT440 hub split last year after my trip to Morzine, despite sending the hub back for inspection of the failure and copies of the receipt for the wheel build to Germany I was told that “The life expectancy of the hub has been passed” and basically F*** Off go and buy another. So I did, a Hope Pro 2 Evo.

I WAS a DT supporter but not now.

P.S. anyone want a home build DT Swiss bearing tool? Send me a PM, postage paid and it’s yours.

I don’t pay too much to use by dates as I used to work for a Juice company, they had two Tetrarex filling machines 1 with UV / peroxide sterilisation for the cartons and one without. The machine with UV officially had 2 months more shelf life on the juice but because the batches could potentially be mixed the use by date had to fall inline with the machine without which was 30 days.

If the food is unopened and kept refridgerated then it’s probably going to be ok, however if when you open the fridge the food jumps out, grabs your face and tries to impregnate you it’s probably time for the bin.
