I’m £55 posted for mine, I have just realised that the Air side controls the travel not the damper DOH!

My TTL cart will do 120 – 140mm.

I have a 130mm Terra Logic damper going spare if your interested, I upgraded to RLC. 😀

I take it that the cable is 3/4 core armoured (Live, Neutral, Earth & Supplimentary Earth), and the Armourings (Supplimentary Earth) will are earthed at source.

If the system has an RCD (Residual Current Device)it will be unlikey that the cable will become live if reset, it would just keep tripping (However each trip causes some degredation on an RCD, they ideally shoud be changed / tested after a “pressured” trip). If there was no RCD then it would be very dangerous to reset / re-fuse as this would only have over current protection (high circuit resistance) and potentially could kill someone (Especially if the post / gates were touched).

Either way the system needs to be repaired (Cable Joint) or replaced before doing anything else.

If you drive a diesel then the answer, when you finally overtake them, is to floor the clutch pedal and accelerator, blasting them with a cloud of black carcinogenic particles.

Or slam on your brakes once past, as your entitled and legally allowed to do. Any resulting damage to your vehichle will be at the cost of said rider/s.

It all depends on how you ride not necessarily where you ride. I have both an Enduro and Stumpy, the stumpy to get fit the Enduro when i’m fit 😈

Seriously, the Stumpjumper will do all you need and more. I would recomend a 140mm fork though.

Ooops, I just bought an aqauracer over a Seamaster 😯

Steve, can’t you say that the tool mark was not there when you sent it? It’s their word against yours, you could even say that they did it! They would have to prove otherwise.

Today I went for a quick blast up around Margam park, and then decided on a 20 mile road ride. I nearly fell asleep twice! Mind numbingly boring, never again.

Hi ambrose, was out most of yesterday so couldn’t see you post. Thanks for the offer though!

Can we arrange something for the week? I work in Llanelli but live in nr margam.

Ambrose, check if its the same as the 440 as I have a split hub you can have, it’ll have star ratchets, springs and even a home made tool to change the inner bearing!

That static flair is something else!

raceface don’t beat yourself up, a bunnyhop to manual with a small jump would have won you the Dew Cup a few years back 😀

It’s obviously staged (and a pretty poor effort too!), rear hooked up on the tree with his left foot in assistance. Also the the front brake (Which is conveniently covered up as it’s not a uk spec bike) is probably cable tied to stop the front rolling out.

    Pah, gotta do better.

Just to add, with mobile systems you may be stuffed as it’s very difficult to filter it out at the router,

My company uses Websense, I think it’s only for corporate though. It sets your browser to got Through thier proxy which has all of the security measures built in, it can only be adjusted by and Admin account so its pretty robust. There maybe other companies / software available that does the same.

a lot of people just turn up with no guiding sorted and throw themselves down the Chavannes run.

Aye, that be me. I done the same at Whistler, Squamish and Sun Peaks (Kamloops) too.

To me you only need a guide if your riding unmarked tracks and have a chance of getting lost.

Trust your skills, know your equipment and be prepared.

There is absolutely no difference form riding abroad to riding at home, the laws of gravity still applies.

Contact your local council for advice, from what I remember your boundary responsibility lies to the left of the rear of the house unless it encroaches on unihabited land.

It may seem all amicable now but when you need to replace your garage roof / damp proof your wall then it will be a different story. Also be mindfull that the neighours may change!

I would ask them to batten out the trellis at least 12 inches into thier own garden.

I live next door to the house I rent out, it has its benefits.

Agencies are also worth it, and I would set up a rapour with a local gas fitter / plumber as this helps tremendously. Especially when the gas supply failed in January at -5 😯 . It was fixed within the hour.

Also get a good accountant, for a £100 a year it’ll keep the tax man off your back.

I agree, the traders should be shot.

They could spend all day scouring the classifieds and picking up all the bargains, only to sell them on at a profit. This is a business, they should be taxed.

I bet they never make any donations to STW world either.

Sometime soon Im going to scam one of the little ****, I’ll donate the money to STW. I’ll be a modern day Robin Hood, everyone loves him. Morally, Im in the right.

    +1 hear hear!

Xiphon I agree totally, it’s not right though that a classified’s trawler should effectively “Steal” from the wider sometimes needy community.

    Narks me a bit too.

I sold a Cannondale F800 frame to R7CTR for £90 who then re-advertised it a week or 2 later with a £100 mark up (Looks like he sold it 2 weeks ago for £135). I did notify the mods who did nothing as far as I can see, makes a mockery of genuine sellers and of people who genuinly NEED a bargain.
