PP, firstly thanks for the cranks! Just what I needed 🙂

Secondly, you need one of these: –

It’s what I use and is superb for removing all manner of difficult bike related stuck things.

A local bearing supplier got mine for me but I nicked the pic from here: –

I had a set of 2011 Recon SL’s that could not be increased, I believe all OEM’s cannot.

    Bash, their fobbing you off.
The bag will have a protective lining to ensure shelf life and gurantee transportataion / storage condition, as long as the bags are unopened and not damaged they have to take it back if you have the origional purchase receipt. However they can insist on store credit instead of refund, trading standards website has all the info you need.

Aye, just finished my 3rd round of Anti Bios. I’ve had it for 8 weeks now in varying degrees of fleminess, it started off as man flue (i.e a cold). It’s still there too, probably ebola or summit 🙁

I have many times, there are vids on youtube etc that will point you in the right direction.

I also have a Terralogic Cartridge that will fit if your fork is origional Fox and not oem. Taken from my 07 TTL Float fork which I converted to RLC. I beleive their the same chasis. I had to srtip down the RLC cart and swap out the top cap assembly for a new one as the threads are different on oems to genuine Fox forks.

No fogging issues as they’re double layer and the frame is vented. It seems that you can only get clear now but I have 2 Persimmons and some kind of Iridium ones that I bought with the goggles (2008)

I_Ache, your right they don’t make snow lenses for MX Crowbars. I just remove the tear off pins for my Ski lenses.

I prefer the fit of the MX versions with my lid as they don’t have the slight peak in the middle of the goggle. Plus the lenses are at least 50% cheaper.

I bought my helmet this summer while in Morzine, luckily I had my Crowbars on me which I swap out the lenses for the white stuff. Fits like a glove 😀

I guy I used to work with would drink 10 cans a day and not eat at all, he eventually went mad (I caught him one day talking to himself about leaving his wife and kids and making his way to Saudi for a “Better Life” in a very gollum like way). He did do it in the end 😯

    I wont touch the stuff.

    Stayhigh,

I have a fully working 2007 130 / 140mm Terralogic cartridge (Open Bath) you can have for £45 posted. The only thing you need is new floodgate knob (I had to use it for another fork), I can get pics tomorrow if your interested. It’ll fit as long as your fork is not OEM i.e. original Fox part and was not specific to a Spesh or Trek etc.

Either way BOS, RS, and Marz et al are far better than Fox in the long run.

I’d love to know what evidence this is based on. Didn’t LoCo say he had no higher failure rates with Fox than any other brand?

Just do a quick search on here for “fox wear” “rockshox wear” or “BOS wear” etc and see which comes out worst. It’s the same on most other bike / mtb forums too, basing evidence of fork wear rates on throughput of 1 service centre that will probably account for less than 1% of all fork servicing is plainly daft.

I’ve been to LoCo Tuning and seen with my own eyes the boxes of worn FOX CSU’s and 40 Stantions. Oddly enough there were no BOS or Marz, and there were probably 5 or 6 of RS CSU’s.

It’s as simple as this, IF you buy Fox expect wear. You may be lucky or you may not, open bath will be better than the enclosed cartridge (FIT). Either way BOS, RS, and Marz et al are far better than Fox in the long run.

I use Avonline at work, good consistant speeds upto 4 meg. The latency (signal delay) in the ealy days was horrific but now it’s around 80ms – 100ms (around twice the landline time). No trouble with signal which supprised me, not cheap though at £170/month.

Damn, I was sure i’d get this for 99p.

I love Lewis Hamilton too, she was brilliant in the Terminator!

I don’t understand all this McLaren stuff though? I may have to mail the seller before I up my bid. 😀

Valves / Valve seats? Try a petrol additive.

is that in place of the float fluid or just for the seals?

I find that the Fox Fluid washes the lube out so I dont apply it, I just make sure every part has a good lashing of the Honey.

Another good tip is to release all of the air pressure and cycle the shock (While still on the bike). This will pick up any lube that has been pushed to the end stroke.

I think it depends on what you use. Slick Honey for me and an air can service once a year.

The BMW is flat out with the bloke driving one handed and filming with the other.

Having said that “The Beast” looks fun, a shame it’s obviously an Audi 😆

the stopping distance is somewhere between 250 and 400m depending on road conditions.

About the same as most ageing / classic cars on the road at stopping from 70mph then.

I needed planning for mine but it was straight forward, and went through with no issues.
2 people can get it built in a day, but the shingles take ages to put on. All in mine was fully complete with electrics, gas stove, floor, carpet and painted within a week.

    Oh it don’t look it but mines a 6m x 5.5m

Heres my 44mm logabin form Cabinville. You’ll need a concrete base, the windows and doors are not very good and will leak water for the 1st year while everything settles. I put a gas stove in which runs on propane, this speeds up the timber drying. The knots will need sealing with silicone after you’ve preserved / painted too as these wick the water through and cause lots of condensation. I’m going UPVC on windows and doors soon as it’s has settled / dried which should make a big difference and more secure. Its also fully alarmed.
