People don’t mind adverts generally.

Obtrusive adverts blocking the screen and making modern devices (iphone) freeze as a result of the volume of spam on screen is something people do mind.

I certainly use this site much less these days as a result.

There is, in fairness, not a huge difference between good tyres. I tend to stick with the same tyre style I have used for years as familiarity is always good

iPhones can not be hacked in a conventional sense. There are tools you can use to defeat iPhone security but they are massively expensive and impossible to obtain outside of law enforcement type roles.

Friend of mine waited 8 months for a new mini. At almost exactly 8 months he was told they can’t fulfil his order and will not be able to supply him a car. Deposit refunded.

There is no provisions made for people (like myself) who feel well enough for work, don’t display classic symptoms but do test positive.

According to the rules I should have gone to work. Informed my line manager I was positive and he told me to stay away.

I tested positive for the first time two weeks ago.

If you have a smart phone on you and an AirTag is slipped into your pocket etc. you will know very quickly.

When you leave the vicinity of the “parent” phone your smart phone will start frequently getting nfc notifications. If you own an apple phone it will tell you an AirTag is following your location and it will show you on a map where the tag started following etc.

The beeping starts much quicker than 3 days too – assuming the parent phone is not too close.

They Purchased Tiso / Alpine bikes a while back and I can’t comment on Tiso as I wouldn’t shop there (hillwalking isn’t my thing) but Alpine Bikes is a steaming turd of a shop these days.

I have run 2 identical forks with different offset before.

I could notice a slight difference between the two but I don’t know what the difference was and couldn’t explain it other than feeling a bit different.

I worked in a bike shop that was part of a chain for over 10 years and did pretty much every role.

I think it’s important to remember some people do make it work. Some shops in the right location with the right stock are doing alright. I don’t imagine the owners are going to be paying cash for a new Bentley anytime soon but they can have a fun job that pays ok if you are not too bothered about making lots of money.

If you want to make a comfortable living financially I’m sure there is easier routes.

The sport and sport + model have the central exhaust.
