lovely torque,i was all over the zesty, and after having a quick test ride i was a bit put off,it just didnt feel too comfy on me,think its cos im a short arse, and they are known for there long toprails, deffo a good looker tho.
and as said went to the shop just to ease my mind over the 5.lucky for me they had my size out on the shop floor,it kinda feels more compact and more suited to myself.didnt get a ride on it tho so it might go wrong from there.

cheers for input fellas, good to hear the rz is near on par with the lappy, cos im a sucker for that front lefty.had one before on a flash f1 alloy and couldnt fault it.looks bit dogy at first but a very well put together front end,im no downhill leg-end but it always stayed in line and never washed out.Just lately got a real urge to go for a full bouncer,an to get around a bit more like ladybower, greno woods etc.so my thinkings that a full suss would cope better than my ht,or be a more compliant ride.anyone know the weight of the rz 120-2 compared to the lapierre?the 314 i tested was around 11.5kg,felt lighter than that tho.

i had the lefty pbr with 100mil travel on my previous bike a 2009 flash f1 alloy which i loved. To upgrade to a lefty is just too steep,i was looking for a full sus this time around and just got drawn in to a flash again, think im a bit of a weight weenie, and a sucker for carbon

really struggling to cope with that fatty fork tho with only having 80mil travel, and not a real looker like the lefty front end.
wonder how much second hand leftys are fetching and if theres a market to sell the fatty fork to,then id be more than happy.

thinking about buying a cannondale carbon flash 4 2012.very light bike by the looks.not too sure sure about that fatty front fork……anyone got one?would like to know how it copes with the rough terrain with only having 80mm travel.is this bike better thought of as a kinda hybrid/commuter than an off roader? thanks kit
