Stayed in Puerto Pollensa about a dozen times, last week stayed just outside Palma. The road conditions are superb this side of the island and I personally think the routes are better this side. Bunyola, Orient Puig, Soller, Sa Colabra, Santa Maria, Petra are all easy to get to. As is Andaxt and all round there. Will be going back to Palma again defo. excuse the sp.

Coulthard has a massive amount of more natural ability than Martin, however Martin has a massive amount of more charisma.

OK’ish programme but did not expect anything more.

As said, bike V car been done to death.

Would like to see a £ per lap comparison to put it all in perspective, or Redbull V Tyco budget.

Raced in the vets. The start was mental, needed to get near the front then into the singletrack in a good position so got into the forest in third place. The first section was awful, no flow whatsoever. Dont worry if you could not get going on any of the tech bits as it was loamy and not much flow. Good circuit but a tough one. Ended up 8th which I was happy with as not raced since October.

Push to the front for the start and then fookin nail it from the gun. Go into the red and then ride into it. Only way to do it, get a good start and get in front of the dross.

Have exactly the same budget and criteria as you. Moved from an A4 diesel to a new Passatt GT D two weeks ago, loaded the Passatt with options.

Just clocked the fist 1000 miles in it today, its quieter, comfier and drives better than the A4. The radar cruise control with DSG is amazing. Drove back from Bristol to Bolton today and only touched the brake and acc pedal to stop at the services for a slash!

Doug, Will a hardtail XC 29er and a rider with a good skill level and fitness level get a good weeks training over there with you or is it aimed more at enduro. (Been MTBing for over 25 years so can throw it about a bit and usually keep with most enduro riders downhill)

    Cheers

Had a pair 18 months now, got them on my cross/winter bike. Hammered them and they have been perfect. Got Hutchinson Fusion road tyres on at the moment tubeless, not had any issues and inflated to 110 psi. Hand built on Hope Pro 3’s, 32 spokes.

If your tree’s a bit poorly (which stone fruit trees often are), they can hang onto their fruit well after its leaves have fallen. The birds maybe picking these off, they will have shrivelled up by now though, so won’t look like plums.

Cheers joat, my plums where so shrivelled yesterday morning after the bike ride they definitely did not look like plums, more like a walnut to be fair.

Thanks for all the comments, you learn new things every day on this forum and the rich vein of comedy that flows through it is still alive and healthy ! :D

    Plumb LOL my bad.

After reading the above comments I am 99% sure they are tits eating insects off the tree branches. I get a large crop of fruit anyway and you can only eat a certain amount of plums (I also give the neighbours loads as well)

I do enjoy the sight of tits on my plums in the morning, so I will let nature get on with it and we are all happy.

    We shall see.

    From Roger… :D

Trilogy n Also known as a ‘brown Star Wars’. A turd of such epic proportions it has to be released in three installments. The first can stand on its own as a complete adventure. The second links to the first, but has a dark, inconclusive feel generating an air of foreboding and leaving itself wide open for an unknown ending. The final chapter has drama, excitement and moments when you think all is lost. A grand battle is waged where good overcomes evil and peace is restored in your arse.

I think after 5 months in space with Ann you would start getting “prison vision” (AKA Camp X-Ray specs) and she would start looking like Kylie and you would be getting the odd twitch.

Went about six weeks ago, got some mates who still live there, I used to as well and most trails are difficult to find if you dont have local knowledge. Got some bloody belting fast technical XC routes in the south and north on Strava.

Let me know and I will link you.
