Sounds like OP has been out of the dating game for a bit. You don’t have to buy gifts for sex anymore, if they don’t put out tell them they’re boring and your not used to birds with such a low sex drive. You will either get a thump on the nose or be balls deep in the fishmongers bucket in no time.

The intense logo let’s it down. It should be parallel with the lines of the tube not all skewerd. Only fibbing it looks stunning, could be pimped or made to look even more stealthy. Sexy bike

Solar panels don’t take 10 years to offset the energy used to make them?? I used to live with a scientist who worked in that field who seemed to spend lots of his spare time displacing those kind of urban myths. Say that they did, in 10 years they would be reaping enivromemtal dividends anyway. Even a small percentage of naturally sourced energy is better than none at all.

Don’t want to sound like I’m having a go or nowt, just asking if you’ve considered a rescue puppy? I help with a greyhound rescue fund raising but know not everyone wants a rescue. I’ve got a pedigree cat and 2 rescue cats so I know sometimes you want a full breed/type etc… Good luck anyway, wish I could have a dog.

Honestly why don’t you like your mates ride? Is it because it’s better than yours or because he is a better rider?

I still feel like the prius is a mix up of 2 different things rather than the best of both but I really does Fit my needs. I like the fact it’s greener than the competition and a bit obscure too. Would look good parked next to the misses supercar too. Ha ha

I’m going to buy my first car soon (Ive got an MG I’m learning in) but want something enviro friendly with good mpg and cheap insurance. I’d love to get say a Yaris but as i would use it for work I couldn’t fit my crap in the boot. Have you found your prius to be reliable? Like a carerra banshee I hear so much mixed things on ownership.

Mol I’ve tried to find details of the panasonic factory that I read would produce the new Lithium Ion battery, it was really impressive and produced waste that was mostly water. Miss Catflees hired a golf bluemotion it was awful and gave figures far crapper than VW stated

    King-ocelot

…didn’t know it was still produced as a saloon? But a more practical 5dr?

Forgive me if I’m wrong but I read somewere there was a new Prius due late 2010 early 2011 with a Lithium battery, panasonic have been given the task of producing the battery in partnership with Toyota as thier factory will fulfil the green ideal. Solar powered etc… I don’t want to sound like I’m knocking the Prius by any means, it just seems a bit of a mix to me.

I agree the Prius isn’t specifically designed for city driving but having seen it used often to lower the city centre charges drivers face, it’s often seen as a solution that it was not specifically designed for. Comparing a Landrover and a Prius seemed like apples and oranges to begin with, that’s why I started my original post suggesting that the two vehicles be compared on a basis of being made and scrapped on the same day etc…

Assuming the cars were both brought new and drove the same milage and were scrapped upon the same day, possibly the Landrover. The Prius is a Jekyl and Hyde mish mash, as someone quite rightly pointed out the nickel in the battery is produced in Canada then shipped to Holland and then sent to Japan. The Area around the factory were the nickel is produced is heavily polluted due to the conecntration of toxic materials.

If you looked at the newer Lithium Ion battery powered Prius, you would need to question were the electricity is coming from that recharges the battery. The generation of cleaner electricity is the point to be addressed with coal production being more harmful than emissions.

I have said it before and will say it again the T25 and T27 city cars are/will fulfil what the prius didnt. The lightness and physical practicality of the vehicles (takes less power to charge than a prius), combined with thier ability to be recycled efficently and safer, ability to be produced in one factory which can also double as a show room (no delivery times) is what i think city centres need right now.

Love it and want to see photos!

I was going to try and build a whole bike for the same budget, something i can leave in town etc…

YouTube introduced me to a video of a monkey riding on a pig. Backwards. For that I will never ever be able to hate it.

I don’t hate spesh but the salesman in thier concept store was patronising. I don’t think this covers thier customer service as a whole, just an isolated case. I’ve had a few spesh helmets and they have been great.

There’s a new 3d version due to be released next year (Feb in Japan) called the 3DS. Nintendo are expecting all the kids to want that and Nintendo don’t often get it wrong.

2010’s been a right pisser. Miss catflees lost her Dad. I lost my uncle. My business had cash flow problems I needed cash fast so was forced to sell my beloved mountain bike, on the plus side I will get a nice bit of pay soon. We’ve had cancer scares too. 2010 seems like every month has been crap. I can’t even comprehend how hard it must be to loose a child. That must be f-ing horrendus. Group hug

David Brown purchased Aston Martin, but then it was also owned by Ford at one point… So is Mondeo man an Aston driver too he he he The DB7 shared some of the same switch gear as the early Mondeo’s. I think your tractor looks cool :)

I’ve got an MG ZR in boy racer blue. I swooped it with my sister who had owned it from new. It’s got phat alloys and a spoiler, broken door sills and every window leeks. It smells badly too as her dog was sick in the back, I’ve tried every cleaning product but that pedigree chum still lingers. The most embarrasing thing of all it’s got L plates on it still (I’m 29) I wouldn’t have started to learn to drive but the missus was fed up of driving me everywere.

I got a mine from here using the amazon bargain basement finder on martin lewis website. I paid £30 for a raquet that was £300 originally dunno much about them but Its much better than the sports direct £12.99 Job I had before. I used to play once a fortnight and can’t say I had much in the way of skill, but was fun.

Some good points made, have you asked your employer to raise the basic pay as they know you to be dependable? Perhaps you can get the best of both worlds?

I was looking at this thread on the train, the lady next to me said MTG looked ‘fit like a wrestler’ I would have got her number for you but her body odour was quite vile and the way she devoured her bacon roll with rind hanging down her chin and a ketchup moustache was quite unattractive.

I tried to avoid the NVQ/Btec thing as awarding bodies and names have changed since I took mine. I started out on a Btec which was renamed a GNVQ which was like an NVQ but full time.

I don’t consider dyslexia a short coming. I do blame my school for not pushing me. The difference is if your University college isn’t pushing you it’s easier to move.
