Thanks everyone, I will look into other cutting methods I only mentioned laser as this is what a mate suggested. If I’m honest £40-£50 is more in the price area were this would be beneficial in cost/time saved so possibly water cut and a bit of filing myself is the way to go.

    I’m in Chester Marcus.

    Thanks again.

Thanks for the replies, I’m in Cheshire. Googling it seems £150ish if I supply the CAD. Just thinking if its worth the outlay/time saved. Very helpful cheers all

Thanks everyone, now I have a better idea of what I’m asking for. Found a place locally I will ring up in the morning. If I’m honest I didn’t know if this would be a sub £100 job thus making it worthwhile to me.

The type if metal doesn’t matter so long as I can heat it slightly, my current stencil is aluminium. I wouldn’t be providing the material.

This was a tough process for me. I had always been promised my Gran’s singer sewing machine it had fascinated me since being a toddler and I have loads if memories of her using it, the serial number started with my grandfathers initials so it reminded me of him too. It was known to be mine but my cousins spiteful wife nabbed it to piss me off, now it sits in her lounge with the cats climbing it and her brat kids playing with it the box has been thrown away and parts lost. I tried to get it back but it was twisted into me being the aggressor.

My point here is ask family members what they have been promised/would like and put post it notes or something.

Got my Scottie -Westie cross completely trained to sit, give pay, jump and go to bed at 7 weeks old got some really cute videos of him when he was a pup. I used the KISS guide to puppy training i got it from a charity shop. At night he sleeps in a cage which seemed cruel at first but has been a useful tool when staying at relatives, the first night he howled then got used to it.

Staffies are lovely natured dogs, we were looking into one but then the Scottie westie cross litter we ended up with came up. I wouldn’t get a dog from a breeder personally when you can get a pup from a rescue centre.

Looks like a Pepsi branded bike my friend had in the early 90’s.

We’ve got a Scottie mixed with a westie, he matches your criteria. Coming up to 5 months old now very characterful very placid and good company (I work from home a lot) I think the cross breeding breeds out lots of illness but could be wrong. Scruffy looking little fella though my mate said he’s like a pensioners dog!

Edit, I’ve not noticed much malting

Jim, has a business that could potentially bring new clients in however as i have said before its not a particualry popular niche that i would be working with him in, and i think i have already saturated the area.

I am already freelance and dont mind doing pitches, samples etc as its part of the role but this one just doesnt add up.

binners that is a classic, i get almost 3 of those re-brand my company type deals a week… but no this ones going to be the next twitter/facebook

3+ working weeks of labour for nowt?

Only you can calculate whether you’d be better off building up your own operation independently.

this has been a very useful post when the numbers are added up like that.

Thanks DD, I dont think this would work independanly or otherwise as its too niche, i think i have laready saturated the market.

Not sure if I understand your OP, but how about copy your logo mask and brush it in the outline colour you want then copy it to a new layer behind your original logo and free transform it so it slightly bigger.

One of those black spikey sea urchins that are common on rocks around the med, my sister broke it open and told me it would taste like jelly beans, so I ate it. She lied.

Reminds me I once went to the touring cars and an anorak next to was talking loudly so we could all overhear, as he educated his son in correct car pronunciation,

    NEEE-SAAAAWN
    Ruh-huh-en-out

And that’s before he stared on the drivers names.

I temp occasionally in various schools & as such have worked for numerous heads in posh private schools to inner city underachieving schools. I once saw a head teacher grab a pupil (he was about 7) by the tie & shout in his face aggresively by the time he was done the tie was a tight knot. I raised the issue with the head who didn’t seem to bothered I wanted to grab the dude by his tie and shout him down but instead mentioned it to another teacher and set a complaint up with the governors. It wasn’t the first time and other staff seemed timid of the head, he was sacked shortly after.

For the head and the children’s sake you need to raise this issue and personally I wouldn’t be found giving a shit if it looks bad on the head if you move your children.

Thanks, this is a clothing company my decision lies in that the designs are average and the market crowded. In all honesty I could & have produced better graphics myself. I have faith in him as a sales person so I’m seeing this more of a I plan & design he makes contacts and sells business.

As an aside with regard to fork servicing, I had a very basic Cannondale about 6 years ago with a Rock-Shox Dart fork, I used the bike for commuting 5 days a week 8 miles each way on road and track, I never bothered to service it once till I sold the bike and my LBS looked at it and said it just needed oiling. I’m not suggesting that anyone should leave servicing this far apart by any means more that forks aren’t as weak as you may think. I service my current forks at home now and I think it costs me around £50 a year in parts. Although it seems you have decided upon a hardtail now over a rigid.

Again are you particularly after a 29er? You could pick up a Merlin Malt 3 (from Merlin bikes) & still have cash left over to get an upgraded fork from on-one should you find you really don’t get on with the standard fork. £800 is an ample budget if your savvy.

I have a bling BFe, I knew the components I wanted & had to buy some pre-owned. I couldn’t be too fussy over colour with my limited budget. So I ended up with bling. Going to respray and rebuild this summer, it will be more colour co-ordinated.

The system may be different in Scotland but my local job centre got me an appointment with the local: ‘new business enterprise’ who provided accountant services fur the first few months which was a massive help. The job centre also gave me JSA for a few months while I set up, provided I looked for other work and my self employment met their criteria. It was great and I have been trading for 18 months now.

My experience with the enterprise seems different from that above, my friend said they were shit too so it seems to vary on your area/luck.

    The which book is good.

Good luck and I hope it works out for you.

The multi coloured secondary drivetrain on the commie reminds me of one of those ‘how things work’ type displays in science museums, were each colour coded cog and coloured section of chain would have a different description on an information sheet. Its all somewhat fisher price buzz light year looking, I’d love to own it just for novelty.

The ‘twin chain’ system is baffling. ‘It doesn’t work’ no shit.

Keep strong and keep going. I can’t make a money donation (i think this is what may have been happening but cant read the thread properly) but if I can use my arty skill set in anyway to make your life easier right now please be in touch, or via the mods.

Is she using a scratching post?
You can get a spray that puts them off scratching, it worked for us.
