I have no idea what nine weighs. It’s not light. Enjoy hammering around on it too much to care.

If your having to think hard about what to spend it it on – don’t spent it, it will be a waste. Put as much as you can in an ISA and wait until you really want something.

Some nice bits that don’t look too good together. Split.

We have the 42″ good TV. The HD picture is really sharp and the sound is ok for a thin set.

Mr Smith is on the money here. For commercial work the photographers we employ work by their own admission very differently on commercial shoots for us than they do on more ‘arty’ projects. Lighting is a huge part of setting a shoot up. Any delay can also soon run into big money so efficiency on shoot day is vital, waiting/chancing natural light isn’t something that can be depended upon.

I work designing homewares at bespoke end of the market and also for a well known brand. As such I have had lots of contact and worked with still life photographers on getting my shoots spot on. We used one well respected guy for ages who sadly moved abroad. looking at the portfolios and interviewing for his replacement on a huge campaign one thing that struck us was how efficient and meticulous the better photographers were. Impeccably dressed, somewhat arrogant and knowledgable. This must surely filter through to the work in the attention to detail. The best were of a certain mould.

“A handshake counts for more than random emails” this simply isn’t the case. You live and feed yourself by the quality of your portfolio not getting to know people.

We’ve got a 52 plate. The facelift models are the ones to go for as the engine has been revised but finding a clean one with good history was proving hard with most being kept by enthusiasts or going for quite a bit over book. We settled on a this one as it was (like the one you describe) a one owner full history example that had been cherished.

Great fun car, much prefer it to the mx5’s it replaced. Check oil and Coolant regularly. It really needs decent tyres, the owners club/forum has a few horror stories with people using cheap tyres.

There was a cool feature in last months evo on them, saying what a bargain they are. I have to agree.

Edit: don’t worry too much on the wheels all Toyotas of that era have alloys that peel and bubble. My other commuter is a celica 190 (53 plate) I am planning on having the wheels done and the mR2s after the winter.

You don’t necessarily need 2 wages to move out or get a mortgage. It sounds like your making excuses about the housing market to stay with your parents. Fine if it suits you but don’t kid yourself your staying due to the housing market.

I think all t-sports have full leather and premium packs as standard. My friend has the 140bhp version, its a Toyota engine unlike the 190 and feels sluggish without lift.

I’m looking out to replace mine with a GT model 🙂

I’ve got a gen7 T-sport too. Mildly modified to just over 200bhp. Not terribly quick but I didn’t buy it for that. I love it, I’ve had mx5’s and MR2s but this suits my current needs better. If you buy wisely you can get a real bargain, the facelift models are the ones to go for . Most other drivers seem to be early 20s with baseball caps or quite old.

Strippers -cash for cars. A bit staged, every episode a similar formula, banter is funny and I was hooked while it aired.

Cheers! I asked on Facebook and a mates mate commented (he worked for Alfa) and said stay away… Which isn’t what I wanted to hear but I need something reliable. We have had mx5’s and now have an MR2 which has suddenly become my girlfriends car now the suns come out!

Pik n mix what are those like in the corners? I regularly see one (could of been you if your round north Wales) when commuting the long way home. He keeps up on the straights but hangs back round bends. I’m either in my celica or mr2 and I don’t think he’s realised it’s the same person diff car.

Gutted I missed the zoopla link, from the other properties it looks like I grew up on that road and parents still live there. I possibly may even know you. The best estate agent in the area was Carl who managed the place by the malt house near mill street. We wanted to sell a relatives house quickly and for market price and he advised us on what to do (ie decor) and it sold in 3 months.

I have done a bit of private art tutoring on the side for years and someone I lived by was in charge of a young offenders prison. We got chatting and I did a few sessions teaching art in prisons as a form of therapy, I was shocked by some of the work that came out both in terms of quality and subject matter. On the whole it was rewarding and far better than teaching secondary which was just an exercise in paper work and shouting.

Poor dog being brought into a school. It’s not a petting zoo. Sounds like the dog got over excited or it was a pure accident that could have been avoided if the dog was left at home.

My brother in law bought 4 wheels an exhaust system and some other bits for a MK1 escort after drunkerdly deciding he could buy all the bits off eBay and build a car for next to nothing. When sober the prices soon added up.

Boxsters are nice my missus had one, be prepared for people telling you thier Clio/GTi/s-whatever is quicker around a track.
MR2 is our current fun car, I prefer it to the MX5’s is replaced. But MX5’s deserve all the praise they get.
    Z4 feels huge by comparison
Crossfire is for people who don’t really like cars or driving but want a drop top.

People thinking Gran Tourismo are realistic

Gran Turismo is realistic in the graphics but Forza has it on gameplay everytime.

On a serious note Tyrannosaur as RM suggested is a fantastic film. Very hard hitting. It stayed with me for weeks.

On the whole I enjoyed it, the mystery was a bit too obvious and I was hoping for a few twists and turns. There was plenty of padding and the ending with the fires was tacky. I would have liked it more if it was gritty. Perfect for an American remake/export.

It has got worse recently. My girlfriend sold a brand new handbag the buyer decided it was fake and set up a dispute on eBay, then the buyer contacted the manufacturer about the bag. The buyer didnt know my girlfriend works for the manufacturer as was simply selling off an unwanted bonus, despite being told by head office the bag was legit and she was an employee he carried on the disputed for weeks it became comical when the bag then described as ‘arrived damaged’. Had loads of chancers since then, sold a Wacom tablet and buyer claimed I didn’t post the pen so wanted a part refund etc. had 180 easy transactions till recently.

I too noticed the postmans van wasn’t a Royal Mail van but a plain red one so could be mistaken identity possibly not.

Girlfriend thinks it was coppers husband, I thought coppers son with the husband covering. Something about when the copper said ‘how can you not know it was going on in your house’ to quirk.

I don’t as it doesn’t agree with my depression and anxiety. Some people have an issue with my not drinking most don’t care. Everyday is a battle to get outside but I’m winning now. Drinking only makes me worse. I feel I have to psych myself up into simple things. when I have had a drink it doesn’t feel pleasant. I get ribbed off some people who don’t understand. During my 20’s it seemed more of an issue than it is now.

Realman, I hope you are getting support. A very difficult thing to have to deal with. Just keep busy it does help and please try not to ever blame yourself or spend too much time alone.
