I got my half links for a pound each from Russels bike shop in Walsall!

Daves cycles are based in Walsall Wood, friendly lot IMO, used them a few times, nothing too much trouble!

I had some batteries off smudge too, very happy!

Is it Nimh or li-ion? Does it work ok with your old lights ok?
Dunno if it maqkes a difference but you have to re programme the light to suit Nimh batteries, why i don’t know, and if it makes a difference i don’t know either??

Don’t have to work Sundays, but they pay for nice shiney new bike bits! Nearly always have my long weekends off (1 weekend in 4) but can end up on lates or nights the other friday/saturdays :o(

I work shifts so the 8 o’clock rule goes out of the window, surely this works on a basis of last meal xx hours before bed? Does 2-3 hours sound reasonable?

I’m thinking of keeping a food diary so i can monitor my food intake better, does anyone know where i could get one i could just print off?? I’m a bit of a computer numpty so not able to make one myself without resorting to good old fashioned pencil and paper! :o(

Tails, IIRC your BMR is the amount of calories your body will burn if you do nothing at all at your current weight, just by resting! your activity burns another 1276 cals, so if you consume 3000 cals you have burnt more cals than you have consumed and in theory should lose weight!

Cheers glenh, was thinking about basal metabolic rate just couldn’t remember what is was! Mine is 2133 cals per day!

Isn’t there a way of checking to see how many calories you need to maintain the weight your currently at?

I love my food way too much! Had cheese slice and corned beef on toast for breaky, pasta and a piece of cake for lunch and chippy chips for tea, with some chrimbo chocs as a treat! :o(

Defo worth checking to see if they have estimated your bill, rather than a meter reading! Have you just moved in?? They maybe estimating using the previous occupants usage!

3 bed mid terrace, tumble drier/washing machine on atleast once a day, 4 bodies in the house, atleast 1 person in the house at any given time! Tv in every room, PC, laptop, couple of X-boxes etc Gas £70 a month, leccy around £100 a month, so thats around £210 a quarter for gas and £300 for leccy!
