Just for anyone else looking at this conversion, I think that the x12 is 142mm so I will get a 135×12.

OK, so I have the evo rear hub on my hardtail, which is just QR, not maxle, therefore I am going to convert that (very easy it seems) to 12mm and change the broken pro 2 to qr, which don’t really break as I understand it.

soooo the question is, which conversion kit do I need for the evo? X12 thru or 12mm bolt through???? conv kits for evos

I tried to get a line through talk talk and gave up as they were useless. then I tried orange who were also useless, I gave up on them after they left me on hold for 40 minutes. I eventually tried BT who were great.

Hope, time and again, vision2 led several years out of warranty sorted quickly for free, maxle hub replaced free, cracked pro 11 (many years old and very well used) replaced with evo 2 for free. you could say that its a few too many things that have gone wrong but as I know they will be sorted out in a way that many others dont match then I keep going back. quite likely to buy a new hope r4 now as well

    I love this one

Do not burn yourselves out. Be as I am, a reluctant enthusiast, a part-time crusader, a half-hearted fanatic. Save the other half of yourselves and your lives for pleasure and adventure. It is not enough to fight for the land; it is even more important to enjoy it. While you can. While it is still there. So go out there and hunt and fish and mess around with your friends, ramble out yonder and explore the forests, encounter the grizz, climb the mountains, and bag the peaks…. and I promise you this much: I promise you this one sweet victory over your enemies, over those deskbound people with their hearts in a safe deposit box… I promise you this: you will outlive the bastards. -Edward Abbey

no need for carbon capture on a wood boiler – wood is biogenic/short cycle carbon so not a fossil fuel. essentially carbon neutral

Not so sure about carbon efficiency claim above for air source, unless you have renewable electricty powering the pump

I would say call before you apply normally. This is a must with rec consultants. Try not to expect to hear back. Its hard but companies are crap. I have had interviews with 4 companies and only heard back from 2, AND THATS AFTER AN INTERVIEW OR IN ONE CASE 2 INTERVIEWS!! AND I HAVE CHASED WITH EMAILS.ahem luckily the other 2 offered me a job. I have also applied for other jobs that I was confident that I would be a strong candidate for and heard nothing. In general I have heard quickly or not at all.

    good luck

If you take the mini to some big hills, i.e. alps or similar then you are very likely to have issues! M4s all the way

I have some of those forks as well, I have put a coil in them as the 2 step is notoriously fickle. It wasnt that expensive compared to the price of the forks. perhaps something to bear in mind. TFT will send everything or do it for you

Sony (or Cowon) all the way if you want good sound quality. I have an x series which has built in noise cancelling and a load of other great features but is not cheap. its is very well made, solid state and nice to use , the stock headphones are more than good enough as well.

A quick google will help you.

Ipods never win on sound quality, but destroy everything else for accessories.

I am doing the same thing but in the industrial environmental area, I find totaljobs to be the best. ENDS jobsearch is useful to find other recruitment agencies, and the IEMA website has lots more as well (but is shit for searching). Good luck.

I have just had this as well, you can tap the snapped maxle out as you would the whole thing (i.e. from drive side to disc side).

Mine is a full maxle as well, hope said it was a design fault but have sent a free maxle out, which I am waiting for (thanks Hope). Apparently SRAM are redesigning it. BETD offer a solid axle option apparently.

I have until april, then two months gardening leave.

I am off to the alps for the summer, then Canada to go on a biking trip thatis already planned with some mates.

Then I am going to loiter in Candiacostercestershire and the USA for a few months before heading elsewhere. Elsewhere is s america or australia/NZ/Asia at the moment.

No dependents at all, and I am saving really hard at the moment……its now or never really
