Yeah enjoy the time. I was gutted when my ex (childhood love – 7 year relationship) split up with me. Low hundreds meant £100 to £150!! Something with 18x zoom plus is fine.

Would also consider a long zoom compact.

tragically 1969 has the best option, I used one of those when my laptop failed, managed to recover all of my stored data. Would be ideal for what you’re trying to do. Although long term look for a back up option in case hdd fails.

Go with something like a superstar nano, kona wah wah or nukeproof neutron/proton or ready to ride cycles. If you’re only XC then wellgo mg1 are very good value for money.

The pedals you described look heavy, mud clogging and expensive for what they are.

Also do a search as there’s probably lots of topics of flat pedals!
