Dekerf – that is an option I have considered, may also be a good way for him to help build and understand how the bits go together.

Managed to get to the cowl at the weekend (very slippery!) and couldn’t get the cowl off. If anyone has a link to alternative brush options it would be appreciated.

The flue is a twin wall type. Frustrating as it’s a relatively straight run up to the top!

I used to have a set of Nike 6-0 which done the job well, not sure what their current model is?

Where did you get the soul cal from?

I guess, like stated above, most stiff soled skate shoes with the right sole pattern would work. DC had a sale on.

I would say £500 max, not a lot I know but can’t justify more financially at this time and for the amount of use it will probably get, good intentions though……!

jet26 – could you ping me some pictures and more info e.g. age, usage, condition etc.

You could see the paint overspray and he measured it with his calibration tool. I’m often pessimistic about things like this but on this occasion think its worth doing.

Took it to the shop and he said absolutely no damage. He said the headset would be damaged long before the frame and the headset has no mark on it. He said the cups were not even going in due to paint overspray, the frame needs reaming and facing.

There’s no marks or deformation of the headset. May get LBs to take a look and stick a headset in for me.

    It’s a steel 853 frame

Looking at it the headset only went in about as far as you can push with your hands. Now deciding whether to buy new h/set and tool or take it to the shop!

Yep, just knocked it out and can’t have been very far in as knocked out with hardly a hit! Do you think frame will be ok. Tried doing just the top cup but won’t go in easily at all!

Do the saints have issues with poor bearings? I’m undecided between those, electron evo and the v12 new model.

I personally would never use an agent. Far easier to use one of the online companies who advertise on Zoopla, Right Move et al.

I managed to reduce my fee with my agent after general poor performance. I had to undertake some viewings and managed to get a larger percentage of offers when I carried out the viewings. Technically I could have moved agents after their contract duration expired, however the reduced rate was not dissimilar so decided to stick with them to reduce hassle and time.

Thanks chaps. It’s not the foam pads it’s the foam she’ll that’s loose from the outer hard shell. Just wondered whether there were any models I should be considering.

    Cheers for the help.

The 2 year is just under £800 whilst the 5 year is just under £900.

I do like the idea of knowing where I am so the longer fix may be beneficial but I’m not great on economic issues so didn’t know likely hood and potential amount of interest rate rises. If I went 2 years would overpay but wouldn’t make much difference!
