Just come back from a wee run round the Pentlands, slippy and white. Only two other tyre tracks around. Much fun.

Other half just come back from work yesterday (BA Cityflyer) and most cabin crew are shocked that 12 days over christamas was the unions choice. There are reps who are feeling decidedly unhappy about it. I seems that the ballot paper was not well worded.

THis is now unite against BA, winner gets their own way loser is severly weakened. Mind you the winner is weakened as well. Could be make or break for them both and they could both end up broken.

BA cabin staff are already the best paid in the industry

    Really!!???!!! No really!!??!!

Other half on a good month with lots of nights away brings home £1500 max. I'd hate to be in those other companies if this is the best paid. Or is it some minority to which you refer.

The unbelievably petty and self-important behaviour of some other teachers. I mean you're teachers; you're not Einstein-in-the-classroom!

Good use of a semi-colon though.

As i say to my class if you ave a problem with someone tryto walk a mile in their shoes. Then at least you'll be a mile away and have someone elses shows.

THat's because the elephant joke is incorrect it should be:

Nothing, one of it'slegs is both the same.

See now it make much more sense.

We rented a place in Bourg last year ended up about 23 euro each per night (as opposed to 18 euro camping). Definitely do it yourself loads cheaper. 950 miles from Edinburgh 1 and a bit tanks of fuel and 36 hours including to journey from Newcastle to Ijmugen.

When someone you don't like hides in a good little hole. You burnout the bugger.

On the bike yesterday. Short sharp hil which is taken at speed on out of the saddle doesn't scrub off that much speed given you are coming towards a school crossing with backed up traffic. Taxi tried to overtake up the hill, i held my ground 4 feet from the parked cars (in case of random door opening), taxi ended up looking like a **** straddling the white line waiting in a queue for teh lights to change. I'm just gratefull he was gracious enough to let me have my roadspace, he could have easily squeezed me into the side.

So eejit but good lad in the same breath.

Tell them NO!. Then let them take the industry overseas. The minute they do seize all UK assets and demand immediate payment of the "loan". No longer a UK bank they no longer get UK money.

F** 'em. Oh and i'm moving banks today. Been with RBS man and boy but this is too much.

You'll need cocktail sticks to get the seals out and in without pinching and wrecking them.

Founder of Waterstone's was on the radio very early Friday morning saying it was a pity but the Borders model was flawed for the UK market. Firstly large out of town(mall) stores (in the main). And then they shot themselves in the foot by stepping out of just books and found that they were then in direct competition with Asda et al (but not able to be as cheap) and no longer a pure book shop.

Just because it works in the States doesn't make it a valid model in all contries.

Must be a theme. I watched Solaris (i think) and had no idea what it was about.
Started watching Sunshine but gave up and went to bed, two days of late malt nights has drained me.

Needs to be in January to allow them to study the material.

Except now you can't fail and be binned off the course.
Back on my course if you failed more than two in one diet, bye-bye if you failed any of the summer re-sits bye-bye.
    Certainly focusses the mind.
Oh and exams much better means you can booze for months then study at the end.
Just like real life periods of relative ease followed by periods of stress and if you do badly you suffer the consequences.

Rest. My cousin died at 42 (8 years ago) whike running on a running machine after/with a chest infection. Direct link to the illness. He left a wife two daughters and a young son. I'm currently resting and really wanting to push on with 'puffer training but my bikes are well polished.

Great tyre at higher pressure. I use them everywhere kitty litter and some impressive mud last week and they worked a treat. THere is a psi below which they turn a bit squirmy but then name me a tyre that doesn't.

Have you taken the back wheel off? I only noticed frame damage(off-road crash, i managed to hit Wales) when i couldn't get the back wheel back on, then on inspection the rear stays were way bent.

All the bank bosses will get huge bonuses (one way or another), if they keep the bank in profit but don't have to pay back the money owed until inflations has risen and the debt is worth less. Of course we will all be being screwed once more.

Mate has HIDs and i ride with LEDs. To be honest sitting at the top of spooky woods is no longer fun at night as he comes along and lights everything up and blinds me. LEDs can be turned off to allow to to enjoy teh night.
