THink if they just mentioned one of them then possibly. Are they advertising the sites themselves or the fact that the BBC can be found on them?

Oh and never use the same best man twice (not that you'll need to).

    Mine went with:

"Half of you can head to the bar 'coz you've heard this before"

Ask about th odds of success. I was told that there was a 20% chance of it needing redone at the same cost so went for the £20 option. Took less than two minutes. Mind she was a strapping lass and had a knee on my chest. Ah the good old days.

We had a house in Bourg. Turned out to be 23euro pppn and the campsites were asking 18. Start line holding pens were at the end of the road. ONly problem is its full of lycra walking arouns town, not a good look.

ersonally i wouldn't, night rides see a few folk with BBQs (just left sitting when finished with) and a heavy fug of "smoke" with thumping tunes. NOt my idea of a wild camp site.

Rosetta is good friendly near town for scran and cheap and less likely to be invaded by souped up corsa's.

    The Baa-Baa-Black sheep "report" is a non-sense.

THe negative context of eth black sheeep being teh odd one out? Erm aren't most sheep white? NOt due to any latent ovine racial hatred but because they are.

"yes sir, yes sir" as a reply by slaves or if you like anyone who wanted to talk to their "betters" back in the day. Hell, earlier today i had chidren saying yes sir to me. Does this mean i am reinforcing racism at a base level?

Ipersonally don't care. I'm a Scot who is British.

Somewhere up the thread there is an indication that as we are all in the same land mass we are all and always will be the same nationality. Does that make all teh people who live in China French then?

If it's in edinburgh and owned by a man who's first name would be what we call a person that lives in the land north of the English border and his surname is that of the notorious Eastenders (TV prog) pub owning baldy brothers. Then expect nothing.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!! if it's for work assuming you will do some there you need to arrive relaxed and ready to give your best therefore whichever airline is most relaxing which according to this thread so far is BA.

To be fair though the new GCSE and A-level exams and syllabus are shocking. Absolute pap. The kids were looking for an idea how it might work from examplar papers ad knowong how the Chemistry one went got absolutly no help with question style. There are a surprising number of marks which are related to questions which have to be answered a specific way no matter how the question may read..

And if they were holed up in and outdoors equipment shop how come they are bimbling around in jeans and anoraks and not some decent kit AND one shotgun, surely they must be able to get another gun from somewhere, given time and noone to stop you most idiots could break into an armoury somewhere. In fact there seems to be only one gun in the whole of london. I thought the streets of the capital were awash with weapons.

Yeah sorry mate just looked carefully at top pic. the adaptor is pushing it too far away. In my head i'm thinking that the caliper is for a 185 disc and you've got an adaptor taking a 165 to 205. but i've been wrong before.

Is that really a 205 disc looks smaller than mine did.

Turn the adaptor so the top in your picture is at the bottom. Think you have it the wrong way up.

Actually convinced its on upside down.

top bolt become bottom et voila.

Don't get it, who cares whether a member is premier or not?

are they going to get preference in "discussions"? I'm a premier member therefore i demand all arguements which do not agree with my point of view are withdrawn.

Surely having the extras is enough (assuming there are extras).

depends on whether you want a touch of luxury (as in relaxed and roomy) and have the money to spend or you want to rub thighs with your neighbour.

Come on people think outside the seat. Convert some of the luggage cabin. Top tier skinnys and kit bottom tier the more rotund passenger and their bags. Keeps teh centre or gravity low for better cornering and if the undercarriage fails to deploy………….boing…………boing….boing..boing.boing…..landed job done.

Love whirley birds. Although Apache is the only helicopter flown by UK forces that can actually loop the loop. Lynx cheats looks like it but never actually gets full inversion.

Which brings us back to local knowledge. Who can say that every ride they have done on natural stuff straight off the map has been great. So its either trail centres for guaranteed fun or grab a local or i suppose get mapped routes from someone.

On average i get the same as the op from the same motor. You can thrash it and get about that or you can be very frugal and get 58mpg but it is only recommneded if you have the time and patience.

But the payment is for when they are away from home. On what are compulsory night stops, so would be seen as subsistence allowances.

The payment is being seen as a benefit or some such thing.

How about appeal for people with local knowledge of certain areas then do a couple of day sin them. I reckon that you caould have a week just around GT area only do GT and inners once each ride completely different routes each day with the right local knowledge. I'm sure the sam ecan be said for other areas.

Kirroughtree – Dalbeattie – Ae (three in two days) up to Fort William, then GT/inners (2-3 days with local knowledge and natural trails) that's probably a week of grins right there.

Agree with the above, didn't make it this year, but all the adventure show crew were happy and chatty and not full of themselves. My only problem was jealousy about the next assignment and their campervan.

He even managed to laugh off his falling off on ice two years ago doubly funny as he was schmoozing a young filly.

Did mine with BASP (British Association of Ski Patrollers).

The knot tying took about 2 seconds, does it work, yes, move on.

Brilliant outdoor secenario role play and lots of, if you found this bloke wrapped round a tree and his bike down there what would you do (strip his bike and leave him for dead is not an acceptable answer, apparently)?

Mind you i did mine at Glenmore Lodge although i guess BASP will do them where there are ski areas.
